Excellent atmosphere, great tunes, incredibly overpriced food, small portions, and nothing that you couldn't find elsewhere for a more reasonable price. The space itself is quite nice though, so I'm torn. I wish it were more of a bar though, I certainly would pop in from time to time, but primarily as a restaurant I suspect it won't last.

Having dinner and with the dj listening experience was an incredible experience. Highly recommend.
It’s unfortunate that the service and food were so lackluster when the ambiance and music were so good. My wife ordered the burger, and did NOT ask for bacon (extra $4). Yet, the burger arrived with bacon and she noticed it two bites in. When we alerted the server (politely), she apologized, which, thanks. But she did not offer to comp the burger and seemed annoyed at us. It’s the first day of Ramadan and my wife is Muslim. Eating bacon and then having to pay for the burger was not on the bingo card. For the prices charged by this establishment, the food was not up to the mark and the service was lacking. Disappointing since the music was so good!

Parachute Hifi is one of our go to restaurants and has been for over a decade (before the “Hifi” was added). We moved to the suburbs 8 years ago and we regularly return for anniversaries and special occasions. We were lucky enough to go to Wherewithal before the pandemic (very sad that it closed as we thought it was also amazing). Anelya also very good. Parachute Hifi has always been solid all around. Don't sleep on the burger.
This place is very different from their original concept and while I like the old place/concept better, this one does deliver.
The atmosphere is very much a listening bar and they have a great selection of cocktails that are all well made. The food menu is on the small side but everything we had was good. The highlights were the burger and the rice. If I liked cream cheese more on sushi I would say the salmon nigiri are a must, but they did do it about perfectly as the cream cheese wasn't too overpowering or too much. Still though, I wish they had a sushi option that didn't have cream cheese.
Overall I would say this place is perfect for an after show dinner or a late night hang with some friends.

This was a great place for date night. Drinks were also super good. Overall they serve a smaller menu of options than I expected for food is my only complaint. On the other side they had music and an intimate atmosphere.

Perfect chill vibe for a cozy sunday dinner. Love the lighting and tunes. Drinks were superb!
Really great decor and vibe as soon as you walk in. Nice options for free parking as well. Food was good, nothing special or out of this world. Would come back for some vinyl and drinks but skip the food.
Have always loved this place. Last night the beef entree for restaurant week was tough and dry and flavorless. Sauce with it was sooo salty and just heaped on the plate. Not very appetizing. Loved everything else.
We went for the restaurant week dinner. The meal was long on inexpensive ingredients. The main dish came with a small chunk of meat, impossible to eat with chopsticks, and a big heap of rice covered with a glutenous, but tasty black bean sauce. the fried tapioca appetizer was surprisingly tasty as was the little brownie dessert. We liked the “listening “theme and the loud jazz.

High expectations based on Clark & Kim's prior James Beard & Michelin awards were dashed by truly awful restaurant week entree. Unappealing presentation, 3 thin slices of cold, gray, fatty brisket on top of unpleasant black bean sauce over rice. The appetizer was delicious but experience went quickly downhill with main course. Their vinyl & CD collection is impressive w/excellent sound quality from McIntosh amp & Altec Lansing speakers. Unfortunately food did not live up to the hype.
If you go during restaurant week 2026 save your money and do not order the prefix menu! The brisket jjajangbap was incredibly disappointing. It was a cold, hard, flavorless slice of brisket over white rice and the black bean sauce was so bland it was inedible. We were shocked that it cost that much and saw other people around us struggling to eat it. My partner and I also ordered a burger and fries to share. The burger came sliced in half and drowning in sauce, it was so messy to eat. The flavor was good but the bordelaise sauce was too sweet and overwhelming. I've had better burgers elsewhere. The ambiance is great and the DJ was spinning loungey deep house cuts on vinyl, which was the main draw for me. Everything was incredibly overpriced though. I got the NA cocktail with THC added and it was $15 to feel absolutely nothing. I love the concept and was excited to have a cute listening bar in my neighborhood. I think I would go back for a couple of regular cocktails and a snack to share, as their regular menu looked decent, but I do not recommend eating a full dinner here as you will leave hungry and broke!

We were at Parachute HiFi during restaurant week and enjoyed pre dinner cocktails, a bottle of wine and a prix fixe 3 course menu. Everything was amazing...the ambiance, the service, the food, the music. We will be back for sure.
Food was good, Italian ice bit too sweet. Female waitress overwhelmed, she got our order incorrect made our stay longer and food shortage at table. Waitress stated we could only select menu or restaurant week menu?
Cool experience. The listening bar concept is excellently executed and the food and drinks were delicious. I can't wait to go again.
