I have been a long time customer of Paris Baguette and have tried drinks and pastries since California. This Chicago branch is the worst. Pretty was ok. The staff messed up my drink, which was fine as mistakes can happen but no one was bothered to try to fix it. I had to go up to the counter 3 times to ask for my drink. One or two people didn't speak English (So why hired them to service American customers?). After 25 mins of waiting for a simple iced coffee that they just grabbed from the container, it tasted bland. I will not be back to this location. The one on Michigan Ave in South Loop is way better.

I like that they’re open until 8:00pm and when i went there was still plenty of croissants and other pastries left- they also have prepackaged Asian style breads like red bean buns, and soft buttercream filled bread that i got which was great- and a small refrigerator case with basic snacks and drinks that’s easy to grab from as a quick meal in a hurry. I didn’t try their menu extensively but it’s a nice place to stop when you’re in the neighborhood for a quick bite on your way to something

I want to say I have ordered from here in the past and really enjoy the food options they have and their staff is generally nice. I went on my break today and ordered an online a slice of red velvet cake and a strawberry croissant for my wife. I left to get back to my work and realized The croissant came out good and I noticed I was given cheesecake instead of the red velvet I had originally wanted. I will say that the treats were incredibly good and there is no need for me to throw a fuss on here or bash a wonderful place as these things can happen to anyone. I will just double check my order next time as we enjoy the treats here.

I have been here several times and the pastries and coffee never disappoint. Today there was a hiccup with warning up the hash browns, ham & cheese pastry. Was still cold and the woman gave me a difficult time about warming up another one, pretty much flat out refused to warm it up bc it isn't what they suggest so I didn't bother asking them to warm up the hashbrown pastry a little more. I was pleasantly surprised to find individually wrapped gluten free and vegan items. I purchased 2 of them, the chocolate mini cake loaf and coffee mini cake loaf. So good! I hope other people but then so they continue to make them. My daughter can now join me for a treat at Paris Baguette:)
