The 2 people that run this place are fantastic and the food is good with great prices
The atmosphere is somethi g they cant really control. The homeless are abundent, the city dorsnt clean the area or help the homeless out of the park next to it.
Other than that, this place helped me move up to Chicago and kept me fed at cheap and fed well.

Came here at 3:40pm and the place isn’t even open, even though it says that the restaurant is open online. Not sure if the place is permanently closed or if this is a logistics issue but making the trip to this restaurant was a huge waste of time. I’d heed people to call the restaurant beforehand coming here just to make sure they are open because chances are that they are closed in the middle of the day.

This place hooks it up! It feels like you're going back in time. Lots of classic flat top grill options on the menu. The cook/cashier is always friendly and fast. You really can't beat their prices either. Great value for delicious food!

I love this place so much! It's so quaint and has this old school feel to it. The prices are still lower than anywhere else around nowadays as well! This should be your next to-go spot for any quick meal for cheap with better than good quality meals! Go check this place out!

Great customer service by the young lady at the front counter. Food served hot and fresh with great portions size. Felt satisfied and full walking out the door.Small diner though with very large windows, great viewing of the park in the summer, a bit on the cold side in the winter on my most recent visit
Parking: Pull in, pull out style parking in a shared lot in front of the building. There is parking on Clark Street by the park if needed.
Kid-friendliness: Booth seeting
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to move around and friendly staff to assist.
Great value, carefully and lovingly prepared meal for a great price. I loved the rice, the fries the gyros and the bbq rib tips. 10 bucks for a dinner combo? Can't beat the value. The chicken noodle soup was also delicious. Friendly service. Hit the spot.

I got a BLT and it only came with one and a half pieces of bacon, I complained and was originally met with being told to pay for extra, so I told him I no longer wanted it and he eventually had it made with more bacon. 2/5 fr.
