The food is amazing and I have been coming here for years, but I went in recently and 1. I didn’t get offered any soup although the people next to me did and as the server was serving the soups he looked at me and still passed me and didn’t ask. I didn’t hear what he said in terms of what I wanted in my food so when I asked him if he could please repeat himself, he gave me an attitude. The lady kept answering to me in English regardless of me talking to her in Spanish but would speak to other guests in Spanish. It’s unfortunate because I’ve always spoken highly about this place and have recommended it many times, but this is not the first time something like this has happened. I was given a dirty fork and when I asked if I could please have another one because the one that was handed to me was dirty, she gave me an attitude and gave me another one. It sucks, the food is amazing but for my hard earned money, I will not be going back.

Visited place for the first time Saturday 10/5/24. This place is the best little spot. The food was great. The service was superb, welcoming, and completely honest. If my mother had opened up her own diner, it would be exactly like this place. We travel to Chicago at least twice a month from Indiana and this was so worth it. Thank you so much. I will definitely be visiting again.

My husband and I had such a good time here. Outstanding service and cozy/welcoming environment. Felt like I was enjoying food in my aunt and uncle’s kitchen. Food was delicious and fresh. Can’t wait to come back soon and try the mole.

Their Pollo en Mole was sooooo good. Portions are generous, food is tasty, and prices are very reasonable. Service was also super good! He helped walk us through the entire menu as it was our first time going. Pancakes were also perfect! Chilaquiles were not my favorite but my girlfriend liked them

We found the best place in Chicago for breakfast, Parkview Diner is fabulous. The owner and staff were so welcoming, the food was brilliant. There are 5 of us visiting from Scotland, Australia and Pennsylvania, it was so good to find a great place right where we are staying. Go, enjoy, you will love it, thank you, Maureen L

Awesome spot. A lot of great options and very good prices. Service was amazing, everyone was very friendly. Their complimentary soup was great and reminded me of my mom's caldo. Definitely recommend the chilaquiles con carne ???they make their own chips and it really adds that extra hint of flavor. Their house made salsa is also very good ?? Will definitely be coming back for more. They are definitely going on my list of favorite breakfast spots ??

Delicious, cash only spot. My family of five stopped for a breakfast bite at 9:30 a.m. Two adults, two kids 5 and 7, and an infant. We sat comfortably at the tabletop counter. We ordered three tasty hot chocolates (Swiss miss with mini- marshmallows), coffee (nice and bold), and two bottled water. Our breakfast order included chilaquiles ( requested with only onion and cheese + made with fried corn tortillas, just like I like 'em), pancake special (split for my kids), a concha, and chorizo con huevo, with corn tortillas and rice and beans. All the food was hot and so good. The pancakes were especially fluffy. We will definitely return. They have a bathroom, that we didn't use but saw. They also offered us a complimentary soup but we declined. Definitely go hungry for this local gem will have many delicious options for you.
