Right in my neighborhood and my favorite stop for burritos. ALWAYS get a steak burrito with everything- and an order of guac and chips. Kind and friendly ladies at the front counter who are super courteous and always package your meal neatly and securely for transport home. They have two salsas....a red and a green....both very flavorful and different from each other. The guac is very fresh and tastes great with the sturdy, crispy yellow corn tortilla chips they give you with it. You can dine inside...or outside in the summer...there is parking on Archer Avenue..diagonal parking on the side and a bit of parking on the back of the property. Fresh, tasty and always reliable...if youre in the Garfield ridge area or on the Stevenson expressway approaching Harlem avenue..EXIT....and try El Patron!

Jasmine and Antonio were Absolutely Amazing!!!! We had a party of 16 and the staff were very attentive!! Tacos and drinks were outstanding! You will not be disappointed!

I was disappointed with the tacos 4 inch tortillas those are small. The steak torta, not much meat. I bought 2 tacos , 1 torta , 1 coke. The cost $24. I requested 2 extra tortillas ,because the tortillas might be cold , I wanted to heat at home just in case. 2 tortillas cost more then a dozen at the store. I have given El Patron many chances. It's close to home , but not worth it anymore.
Surprisingly I actually miss Pepe tacos on Archer. It close for unknown reasons. There are few choices for authentic Mexican food nearby to take out. Any good restaurants are miles away.
