Place was super packed on a Thursday night but was lucky enough to get a table. Pizzas are quality - loved the honey added to the Hellboy and the uniquely rectangular shape and thick crust of the Detroit style pizza!

I ordered a pizza and a soda last night for delivery. It took an hour and a half to arrive. They didn’t deliver the hot honey I ordered, they brought the wrong soda, and the pizza was cold. Awful experience.

Pizza hits the spot at Paulie Gee’s brunch. Initially disappointed we couldn’t get a wood fire pizza for brunch (this is before they added the options to the early menu), I opted for the US pan pizza.

Split it for two, and we were extremely happy having never thought about Neapolitan pizza after it arrived hot and crispy! Hot honey and pepperoni *chefs kiss*

Great portion size, fast service, quality ingredients. Really enjoyed the Vodka-roni, best vodka sauce I've had.

Underwhelming pizza and non existing customer service.
They say they have 3 step system check but thats a lie. They messed up the order (made it with real meat instead of vegeterian substitute ) , tried calling them to rectify the mistake but nobody answered the phone whole day. I read other review that they regularly dont answer the phone.
20% service charge on takeout is another red flag. 20% service charge for putting pizza in the box that i go to pickup.
Luckily Chicago has plenty of good restaurants to offer and this is definitely not one of them.Would not recommend wasting your time and money here , dine in or takeout.

I was hoping to be able to reach you in timely fashion so we can rectify this but as i mentioned, and some other people did , your customer service is non existent.
I managed to get ahold of you 6 hours after the fact. I wasn’t able to come back to the restaurant as it is 30 minutes drive one way therefore i had to spend another $50 for a different order+delivery fee+service fee+minimum order. So yes , 7 hours after i wanted a full refund and i also sent you a picture of untouched pizza so its not like we ate it and i was just being an a-hole.
The review left was honest review before our chat afterwards. The other pizza was still underwhelming.
I have full compassion and understanding for good restaurants who have good communication good service and can rectify mistakes (that do happen) in timely fashion. You have neither of these.
Best of luck to you and your staff and hopefully you can learn from your mistakes and answer the restaurant phone from time to time since you have it.

We are a family of 5 and ordered 3 pizzas. Perfect size! The BLT is superb. Almost no waiting time for our table (no reservations). Mondays they have a special for $17 with a drink which is excellent.

Take the feedback - no one wants a service charge.
Raise your prices to reflect paying your staff. No one likes seeing one price and then getting hit with additional costs
Be upfront about it. I'll get my Detroit style elsewhere

Derrick and the team do a wonderful job of making this Brooklyn transplant part of the neighborhood. Prices are reasonable across the food and drink menu, the Monday special is a tremendous deal, and the US Pizza Cup Winner "Logan Square style" (Detroit-like) pie is an unforgettable experience. Seasonal specials keep things exciting, too.

Employees are under paid ,miserable, rude, but I suppose if you’re drunk or ordering take out it would be a decent option. When they’re busy they cut the phones off. Who knows if they spit in your food, if they’re willing to be rude they probably pick the pizza off the ground and serve it to you. Hope you have good health insurance.
