best pricing for a large oat chai anywhere on campus! plus really nice and efficient service
I am going to be honest, this is some of the worst food and coffee I have ever had. The workers are really chill and nice and I genuinely enjoy them, it is not their fault that the food and drinks are so bad (it is not made in house, pretty sure its just delivered for them to heat up). Regardless, its almost shocking how bad the food is. This wouldnt be as troublesome if the prices weren't sky high, which they are.
It costs about $9 for a tiny little bowl of diced potatos and 3 pieces of spinach. I could buy a bag of potatoes and make 10x the portion at home for like $3 dollars. Their profit margin is what- like 800%? Is that really necessary? The prices are so high it genuinely feels exploitative (since students don't always have the time to leave school and go somewhere else between class). Apparently there is some kind of no competition clause which is why Peach's is able to exploit the students like this, but it just feels so wrong.
In my photo, you will see the tiny diced potatos that cost a WHOPPING $9. I placed the fork next to the tiny potato bowl to demonstrate how shockingly small the portion is. Spending so much on this tiny, low quality option made me feel straight up guilty and upset with myself for the rest of the day- Nobody deserves that.
Not to mention, the prices at the vending machine are significantly better. I could buy an 8-pack of peanut butter crackers for the store for $5. Peaches no joke sells one of those packs for $5. Is that even legal? The irony of this place being inside the law school is truly crazy.
The coffee is also really, really bad. The only flavored coffee they have is peach flavor, and yes its as bad it sounds. Genuinely don't know whose idea it was to have that, and they keep it even tho legit no one ever buys it. The regular coffee is fine, but costs more than starbucks. STARBUCKS! which is notoriously expensive. If im paying $8+ for a small cup of coffee, it should be good. Here it is barely drinkable -- I try to drink it as fast as I can so I dont have to taste it. The food and drinks here are honestly offensive.
I just want to reiterate though that the works are very chill, nice, and kind, and its not their fault the food and drinks are so bad. they have no control over it and do their best. The workers are awesome people and peachs is truly doing them a disservice by making them sell this stuff!
Vegetarian options: Barely any vegetarian options, most of the food is mixed with some kind of meat. the vegetarian options they do have are incredibly expensive with teeny tiny portions.
