This was my first time we wanted to go to a black owned restaurant so we ended up here. The customer service was absolutely amazing. Every 5-10 mins someone was checking on us to make sure we was good. Food came out hot and it was delicious. Not a big menu but a great variety of options. We spent about $30 a person but we got extra stuff. Definitely will go back.

During our most recent visit to Chicago, we found this gem! From our warm Greeting by the Staff, the vibrant & joyful atmosphere, the amazing Coffee (try the Peach) & scrumptious breakfast (you must have the salmon cakes, 7-up pancakes, & scrambled eggs!) & the casual conversations with fellow Customers! Mom & I enjoyed every moment! We even purchased a bag of the Peaches & Creme Coffee to bring back to Georgia!
When visiting the Windy City, or if you are local to Chicago you'd better Run, don't walk to Peaches! This place feels like sweet-love on a plate!

I visit here as often as I can. Today was the first time my order wasn't ready by the time I arrived. I always arrive 10 minutes after the quoted time. And when I arrived I was asked to wait another 5/10 minutes. The manager apologized and I received a complimentary coffee for my wait and inconvenience. When I arrived home I realized my chicken thighs on the Hangover plate were now wings. I looked at the receipt and it says SUB wings. I'm thinking I know I wouldn't do that because I order the hangover plate because of the chicken thighs. No mess. No fuss. So I called to speak to the manager and inform her what happened. She offered to make what I ordered the correct way when I return. Overall I was pleased with the way the manager handled my complaint and my missing or incorrect order. 🫶🏾
Update - Called to get my order remade today. I also added a few things to stretch out my meal. I emphasized I would pay for the extras. When I arrived to pick up my food I was told there was no charge at all 🤯...I was more than pleased!! The manager Ivy, gets her flowers today 💐💐🌹🌹🌸🌸🌸, for going over and beyond my expectations. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Peach’s is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Cliff is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Great salmon croquettes with cheese grits and soul food. Must come back. 10/10.

Stopped there this morning with my wife, daughter, son, daughter in law and grandson. Service and food was exceptional, what really made the visit great was that my grandson was talkative this morning (he’s 1) , the owner came over and said to him, “you’re talkative you want your food let me tell them to hurry up” It made me feel that she was not only interested with her oldest but her youngest customers as well.

Had seen lot of reviews for this breakfast spot and added it to my bucket list to try having to meet a friend who was late and realizing I was near by I decided to drop in. From start the greeters and wait staff were very friendly and welcoming. After ordering my food the bourbon peach French toast side of catfish and side of salmon croquette I found the food lacking a lot on flavor and seasoning. The catfish and salmon were just okay after adding salt and hot sauce but the French toast really had me disappointed expecting something spectacular but my 8 year old makes better French toast. Just overall a no for me I feel like I waisted $40.
1st time visiting this establishment today an I must say the shrimp an grits was good. The banana rum french toast flight was good as well. I gave 3 stars because the customer service was terrible. How do you seat someone then forget about them? After being seated for 20 mins I had to ask one of the servers was anyone going to take my order anytime soon right after I seen them attend to a Caucasian group of men who came in right after me. They were quickly seated and greeted upon arrival an I was sitting right next to them waiting on someone to take my order. The food was good but I had better and the customer service sucked, the servers made me feel like I didn’t matter but was quick to attend to the white men. I will not be returning!

Beautiful location very nice helpful staff. The Mr loved his shrimp n grits, our juices were so good. Tried the strawberry lemonade and peach! Lost a star for my unseasoned home fries it made the rest of the dish bland. But overall I'd definitely give another try a lot of options on the menu

Our first time going and it was very good. Service was wonderful. Our server, Autumn was attentive and pleasant. We did have an exceptionally long wait for our food because the kitchen was behind. However food was good. The only critique would be to take the tails off of shrimp in the Shrimp and Grits. Will definitely return soon!!
