Coffee drink (> $7) was okay but when the code did not work on a vacant bathroom, the server just repeated the code in a rude manner and pointed to the bathroom that was not vacant. The treatment was at best condescending. Customers who are spending money and are polite do not deserve this kind of treatment.

This is long overdue review. The consistency, friendliness and knowledge the staff has on the coffee and recommendations is amazing. They are always so helpful and never make me feel rushed if I have questions. Love the indoor and outdoor seating areas. The food is great! My favorite is the crispy ham sandwich oozing with bechamel sauce and the maple waffle and sausage sandwich. I love their seasonal drinks as well. Golden turmeric is a fave and now they have the Derby that is bourbon flavored with irish cream. It is SO delicious! I hope they never take it away.

coffee and almond muffin and hibiscus drinks were good. service was a bit lazy as they just pointed to things after we were looking for napkins and sugar instead of adding it into our bags or walking us over. cramped space for dine in but a patio table outside by river views if it's nice out.

I wish I would’ve caught their names, but the gentleman and lady closing down on 7/17/24 deserve a shout out for their friendliness and accommodation. Through only my own fault I had trouble finding the store, and arrived almost at closing. Where I would’ve expected them to be annoyed for my being late, they were apologizing to me (it was my fault, not theirs!). They were genuinely happy to get me my coffee and pastries even though they were locking up for the day. Staff went above and beyond to welcome me on my trip to Chicago!
