The lady with a specs told us that they close at 6pm and the guy quickly came and closed the restroom at 5:56pm. When I told this point to the girl she said ‘just leave now ‘ as it 6:02 pm rudely and I still kept my calm and said that the restroom was closed at 5:56pm and I have parents with me who are 65plus and they needed to use the restroom at that point This was at Peet’s river walk Dated : 6June 2025

This was our first time at this Peet’s location, and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a black coffee, a latte, and a roasted turkey parmesan ciabatta — all freshly made and full of flavor. The sandwich was warm and perfectly balanced, with melty cheese and herby notes in every bite.
The atmosphere was calm and inviting. There’s plenty of seating, space to work, and the vibe feels just right for a quick break or even a remote work session. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
A solid option in downtown Chicago if you want great coffee, a quick bite, and a relaxed environment. We’ll definitely come back!

So disappointing! The Barista was RUDE. Downright snarky. It was dark and depressing and the bathrooms were out of order. I expected more from a Michigan Ave address. Based on my initial experience, I’ll never return. Huge thumbs down 👎🏻.
I work locally and did not know this Peet’s existed until I went to semicolon bookstore next door and they had an event where they had Peet’s coffee. Karina and Jaime was the barrista serving the coffee and she told me about Peet’s being next door. I have been going to Peet’s ever since.

On November 26, 2024 at approximately 1230. Poor customer service incident:
lf I could put a negative star that would be great. I will be contacting management for sure!
This female cashier in the photo was very rude and didn't want to give me access to the restroom. She stated that the restroom code would be on the receipt! She didn't give us a receipt, and when I told her I thought the code would be on the receipt. The worker basically ingorned me. Till my wife knew I needed to use the restroom and asked for the restroom code when I was having an emergency situation, I needed to use the restroom and was denied and waited a good ten minutes. The code was given verbally to my wife.
Very poor decision on her! I wasn't sure if she had an issue because, I'm a male or was in a group of Hispanics.
