Bought 1 gallon of red pozole was mostly broth and hominy with very little meat. Not to mention 6 #4 size tostadas for the whole gallon, 1 small avocado, a pinch of cabbage and 1 lime.... Pozole was ok in taste but wasn't made how I've known it r9 be made traditionally. I have never had my pozole with meat shredded pork, I've always ate it with chunks of espinazo de puerco. I would love to know what pork cut was used.
This was my first time here. We came here on a Monday afternoon. And what i loved was no wait !! We were able to be seated quickly and was able to order even quicker. Pekes Pozole is hands down one of the best places to enjoy authentic Mexican pozole. The broth is rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices, and the meat is tender and cooked perfectly. Every bite feels comforting and satisfying.
The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are genuinely kind and attentive, which makes the whole experience enjoyable.
Portions here are generous — one bowl is enough to fill you up. Parking can...
