Never going back to that place again. The owner of the restaurant is extremely mean to the workers as well as the customers. She disliked my way of tipping and acted extremely rude to my family. I got to witness the owner mistreat her employees and exploiting them. Not worth coming back.

I decided to try this place because of all the social media reviews claiming the food was amazing — but honestly, I have no idea what they were talking about. The food was extremely disappointing. Everything we ordered was either too dry or completely bland. I ended up throwing most of it away because it just wasn’t enjoyable.

The service was just as bad. The waitress took our order, but by the time we were ready to leave, the fourth dish still hadn’t arrived. We assumed they forgot to put it in. However, when it was time to pay, they had actually charged us for the dish we never even received. That was incredibly frustrating.

The entire experience felt chaotic and disorganized. It seemed like there was no coordination in the kitchen or among the staff. Overall, it was a waste of both time and money.

Very disappointing experience. I definitely won’t be returning.

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant and have generally enjoyed my visits, which makes this experience even more disappointing.

On a recent busy day, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated. After ordering 짬뽕, 짜장면, and 탕수육, we waited another 30 minutes without receiving our food. When we checked in with our server, she told us everyone was waiting and that it would come out soon.

After nearly 50 minutes total, we noticed tables that were seated after us receiving their food. I approached the server to double-check our order, and she discovered that it had never been placed with the kitchen. Despite this, there was no apology for the mistake on the hour-long wait. When I stood there expecting some acknowledgment of the error, she responded dismissively and said, “You can leave if you want.”

At that point, we did leave.

I understand that busy days happen, and mistakes can occur. However, the lack of accountability and basic customer service was the most disappointing part. As a regular customer, I expected better.

Absolutely terrible experience. The pork I was served was clearly rotten and tasted spoiled, which is completely unacceptable and honestly disgusting. When I brought it up and asked for a return, the staff were incredibly rude and acted like it was my fault instead of taking responsibility or trying to fix the issue.

To make things worse, the rest of the food was extremely bland and had almost no flavor. Poor food quality and awful customer service — definitely not worth the money. I will not be coming back.

I didn’t really like the black bean noodles but the sweet and sour pork saved the whole thing.

Jjajangmyeon blacker than your ex's heart.

Tangsuyuk with a crunch that shatters like your heart from that same ex.

I'm really just heart broken knowing it's kind of a trek for me when I'm in Chicago becuase as good as the public transpo is in Chicago I'm in Lakeview and getting to Albany Park takes a while.

The outside looks like a Chinese Bodega in Queens NY, but the inside looks like it's been family owned and operated for decades, which it has, that sort of authenticity can't be faked. With a menu bigger than Cheesecake factories, these chef's run multiple wok's and a mise en place that puts french chefs to shame.

When you think Chinese/Korean, it's quite a 50/50 split with not one more prevelant than the other. When you think Korean you think banchan and kim chi's and pickled daikons, so in that regard it's more Chinese.

Apparently they have gotten some fame from social media, but I've been coming here long before that. Most of the patrons are Asian and all staff are, so your service is gonna be matter of fact. It's not so authentic that there are social mores to the tea pouring. They take your order quick and the food comes out quick, usually everything at once which is great for family sized meals/orders/parties versus date nights where there is conversation in between.

I feel like onions, green onions, carrots and peppers are in everything. I wish they had more xo sauce items becuase you can tell all their sauces are slurry enhanced. Still delicious, bold, thick, great. Prices are very affordable and the portions are plentiful. Fried rice is heavy on the msg and light on the soy sauce. They velvet all their beef, but the beef don't be beefing heavy, but their pork and shrimp are all succulent, soft, juicy without all that bi carb. Their szchewan sauce is something I dip their chicken lolipops in on top of their already sticky glaze. I tend to cut and add vinegar to a few of their dishes which is great.

It's M&P, down home, local. It's a place to bring your family, it's a place to stock your fridge with leftovers. It's the places metro cities are built on, despite it not being in Chinatown.

This restaurant perfectly recreates the look of a 1960s old-style jajangmyeon shop. The taste is just like the classic jajangmyeon and really hits the nostalgia factor. Portions are generous, and it’s cash-only.

Great food and service! Szechuan chicken was so good and had a decent amount of gravy (which is rare)! Will be back soon! 💪🫡

Once you order, the food takes one hour to be served to your table. I was not notified in advance and waited forever. When I was complaining about the wait, they said that “Foreigners don’t complain even if they wait two hours”.(What does that even mean) Also the food was served as soon as I complained. Literally means that they forgot about our order in the first place LOL.
Overall, the food is good, but the service is terrible.
