Once you order, the food takes one hour to be served to your table. I was not notified in advance and waited forever. When I was complaining about the wait, they said that “Foreigners don’t complain even if they wait two hours”.(What does that even mean) Also the food was served as soon as I complained. Literally means that they forgot about our order in the first place LOL.
Overall, the food is good, but the service is terrible.

Every neighborhood needs a place like this. It’s a shame the five star rating has become so overinflated because, this isn’t a 5 Star place, but I guess it does five stars at doing what it’s supposed to do. This is a very simple, very basic Chinese restaurant that serves really good food. It’s never going to win an award, but you don’t always want those places. Anyway, we had a great meal there, the service was a bit of a hoot. Our meals were delivered at least 10 minutes apart, but the waitstaff was so sweet and so friendly you just couldn’t be upset over it. Plus, it was just me and my wife so we both nibbled at the first meal before hers got there.

Anyway, if you’re looking for fine dining, this ain’t it but if you’re looking for a good meal, then this would be the place to go if you’re in the area.

“Terrible service and rude staff.”
I keep having bad experiences here. The people are rude, and they never get my food right. I’ve tried giving this place multiple chances, but it’s always disappointing.

Best Mongolian Beef in the city. Very cool, real authentic retro vibe in there. Owner lady is always SO nice. A Chicago classic. Been going for years.

This is place is amazing.....as is Chrissy! It has some of the best food in the city. Just look at the pics!

Side Note: Anyone upset about them gaining popularity is just plain selfish. I want them to be rolling in money and slammed every day. They deserve it and you wouldn't understand how difficult it is to survive for so long in this industry

Whoever stop gate keeping this ruined it for the loyal costumers! Yesterday I tried ordering from here mind you we’ve been coming since we were born and we couldn’t even get through the phone! Good for their business but who ever put this viral ruined it for everyone else

Amazing food and service, this place is a true gem!!! It’s really busy now that they went viral and We saw new customers being so nasty to the staff about the wait time. But that’s the reality of when viral videos happen to places that aren’t used to the surg! I hope they continue to stay busy but not Tik tok busy haha! Thanks again for the GREAT MEAL

AMAZING! standout was the Mongolian Beef-genuinely one of the best ones I’ve had. Sweet and salty and at an amazing price point. Lunch special was super worth it.
