Went in there last week. Loved it. The Thai shrimp fried rice and chicken pad Thai were excellent. May have to schedule another trip to Chicago just to get another meal there.

I was wondering around by myself trying to find a hidden Chicago gem and I stumbled across Penny's Noodle Shop! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The workers are so friendly, warm, and inviting, making you feel right at home. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and cooked to order, which really makes a difference. They have a great selection of Asian cuisine, with something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, the location is fantastic, making it a perfect spot for a quick and satisfying meal near the ballpark. Highly recommend!
Had the Hot Pepper Noodles with Beef and the Gyozas. Both were fantastic

Awful ! Just awful! Customer service - rudest employees! My order was not coming / running 1.5hrs late , called to inquire about it, employee didnāt even let me speak, talked over me saying ādriver left ok byeā and hung up one me. 40 minutes after that conversation driver was nowhere to be found.
If you are so busy that you canāt handle the orders JUST DONT TAKE THEM. Simple . Or at least try to be reasonable and understand when speaking with your client.

Placed a delivery order, 2 hours later and still no food. The lady who answers the phone keeps saying the driver is out with the food. Almost 40 minutes later and still no food after the third time calling.

I've loved this place forever! I've been coming for over 20 years. I remember when they were on diversey
All of the dishes have plenty of meat which is nice because so many places now a day is skimp. It was packed at 3:00 which just tells you how amazing they are. I hope they're around another 20 years š
I'm noting this here just so I don't forget. The next time I go in I get a free seaweed salad because they forgot to give it to me. It just happens. The only reason I'm noting it here is cuz I'll forget and the way that I remember things is putting them on review š

My favorite pad Thai in Chicago. I lived in Bangkok for 5 months and the food here always brings me back. I love the bean sprouts, cabbage, and cilantro that comes in the side with the pad Thais. Iāve eaten here dozens of times and Iāll always come back. Great flavors, amazing and friendly service. Pennyās food after a long day always cheers me up. š I love dining in as well!

Had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, and the customer service was excellent. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and it was the best I've ever had, perfectly balanced flavors. I'll definitely be back for more.

We made a huge lunch order for our team at work and everything was great. Usually with big orders itās easy to have missing items but they didnāt miss anything! The person at the cashier was so kind and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed when I was picking up the order.
I ordered the hot pepper noodles (extra spicy) and a Thai iced tea. My photos donāt do justice since I had to eat on the go, but upon the first sip of my Thai iced tea I did a happy dance because it was so perfectly made and not watered down or weird tasting, just how I like it. The noodles were also delicious and flavorful! There was a good ratio of veggies/noodles/meat. I definitely recommend if you like spicy noodles! Would order from here again!
As always, delicious food! The spring rolls were great & super fresh. Waiters went out of their way to be kind & helpful.

As a person that regularly eats Thai food from many authentic Thai restaurants, this is the absolute worst Thai food I've ever had. I don't think it is authentic. The Pad See Ew and Pad Thai were terribly bland. We spent $90 dollars for something we could barely stomach. If you are looking for a good Thai Restaurant in Chicago, do not eat here. It is awful.
