What can I say about Pete's Place? It could very easily be the friendliest bar in Chicago. I recently ran a marathon and had trouble walking afterwards. But I felt the need to celebrate a little. Not only were the drinks affordable and delicious, and the staff gracious, but one of the patrons personally grabbed my aching feet, removed my shoes, and gave me a world class foot massage while I enjoyed my apple pie shot. HE DIDN'T EVEN ASK FOR A TIP!!!! 10/10 would recommend
Loved the laid-back vibe here. The place wasn’t crowded, which made it super relaxing — just what I needed. Great beer, chill ambiance, and no rush. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to enjoy your drink in peace, this one’s a gem.
