The café is located just off the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria. It was the only restaurant available because of Covid with limited services at the hotel. I opted to have breakfast here one of the mornings I was staying at the hotel. I had the ham and cheese croissant and an iced chai tea. The ham and cheese croissant was gently warmed and the chai tea was freshly made with plenty of ice. Again, due to Covid the items are served in single use plastic containers only. The bakery cases also look fresh and appetizing. There is some seating inside as well as some of the outside seating near the hotel drive. Later in the day I came back for an iced green tea which was really good as well. The service was fast and friendly. I was able to charge it to my room. It's actually a Delightful café kind of tucked away and quiet if you're looking for a peaceful place to have a quick meal or sweet treat. This is a Michael Mina café so you know it's top-notch. I definitely would return and recommend to others then going to some of the larger coffee chains in the area

The only thing that kept me from giving 1 star was the fact that the girl behind the counter was great! They have a $14 sausage egg mcmuffin that doesn't come with sausage!!!

If you like coffee and nice atmospheres, you should visit this venue. Having a morning cup of coffee here is really amazing. It's more relaxing than yoga or Pilates or something. You find such atmosphere only in New York City or Chicago. This is a legit warm small bouji coffee shop at the bouji Waldorf. Complimentary coffee for hotel guests is actually better than their americanos. Seriously excellent regular black coffee over here. Made my mornings. Black coffee score: 4.8 Bouji score: 4.5 Latte score: 3.5 Atmosphere: 4.8
I love the Petite Margeaux, but was very disappointed to learn that they are no longer serving quiche and food; just pastries. Everyone that works there is so nice and the service has always been impeccable along with a cozy, casual atmosphere. I'm very saddened it's coffee & pastries only. Please bring the delicious food back!

Petit Margeaux is a small hotel cafe, it serves coffee, tea and a few baked goods. The baked goods are fine, the coffee is pretty good, but it isn't quite a real cafe -- more of an extended refreshments table for the Waldorf. The selection of food is very, very, small and doesn't include any hot or cooked foods. There is no WiFi, unless you're a hotel guest -- furthering the impression that this is not a place for locals passionate about cafe's. Despite all this, the things that they do offer are pretty good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The last thought I have to offer is that the cafe would likely feel more like a cafe if it weren't sharing space with the lobby, seeing people check into their rooms kind of breaks the French cafe feel.
