I've forgotten what I had ordered here since I actually came here back in July, but I remember it being good. It wasn't coffee since I don't drink coffee, definitely something chocolate haha. My friend got the mint mojito which was super tasty and unique as well. Super calm and relaxing environment and the person working at cash was friendly

Came here from Detroit for the game (go Lions) and of course I have to get a coffee so chose this place and I am very freaking happy I did. It’s a shame that a lot of coffee shops back home in Michigan are not as good as this place so yes, I highly recommend.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with one of the baristas. I always treat staff with respect and make it a point to tip, especially when it’s busy and they’re working hard. While tipping is not required, I do it to show appreciation. Unfortunately, this barista made me feel like everything I requested was an inconvenience.
Instead of asking if my drink needed adjustments, she told me to move aside to add my own cream. Moments later, she handed the next customer their coffee with a polite, “Please let me know if your coffee needs anything.” This stark contrast in treatment was disheartening.
On top of that, the barista forgot to add sugar to my drink. When I asked for sugar, she handed me a cup full of raw brown sugar, again acting as if I was an inconvenience. To my knowledge, they don’t typically serve raw brown sugar in their drinks. The entire experience left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer.
I will not be coming back to this location.

I used to be a huge fan of Philz Coffee, especially for their signature Mint Mojito Iced Coffee, but my recent visit left me disappointed. What used to be a refreshing, carefully crafted drink tasted more rushed, lacking the delicious, balanced flavors that kept me coming back. Even the vibe felt off—where were the friendly, enthusiastic baristas who used to make the experience memorable? This time, they seemed to be going through the motions with a more mechanical stride, which took away from that personal touch I used to love.
For $8 and change, I expected more. If you’re just after an average coffee, it might be fine, but Philz was known for offering something above the ordinary, and that special experience just wasn’t there this time.
