Atmosphere is rather unconventional as it is locally owned, but the food and service is incredible. They are by far my favorite place if I am looking for some good Pho, and, despite recent price increases, are still an inexpensive option for authentic Vietnamese food. Conveniently located off the 36 Bus route and the Argyle train stop, it is easy to get to. Overall highly recommend

All of the Vietnamese restaurants in the area, this is my favorite for years. I love the service and their food. Not until today, I’m so hungry and ordered the classic bahn mi for to go because I’m so hungry. I left and when I opened the sandwich, it was so cold. They didn’t toast the bread. I called them and they said they expect customers to toast at their home. What if I’m homeless? What if I’m not going straight to my house? What if I’m bringing this to a picnic? All they can offer is “I don’t know what to say, we always have been doing that!” —what a great customer service! Clearly they don’t care about their food nor their customers.
Well, you do that. You lost a loyal customer!

Incredible food and fantastic service. 😋 I had the chicken stir fry with orange sauce, and it was amazing. More flavorful and nuanced than I was expecting, and ready to go super quick! The broth is amazing, as well! A super affordable place with delicious food. I would definitely come back when I'm in town again.

In a time where prices are raising and portions are shrinking, this place maintains its reasonable pricing and HUGE portions. I frequent a number of Argyle area Vietnamese restaurants and Pho Viet has always earned its place in the rotation.
What sets it apart: Friendly FAST service Huge portions at reasonable prices. Rice dishes even come with a little bowl of chicken broth.
