Great New Haven style pizza
Specifically the white clam pizza was great. I’ve had the atomic Doug before as well and that one is amazing with the sausage and caramelized onions.

I love the initial shock when large pies are placed on the table and you totally forgot how large their Large actually is. And then there's the pizza/apizz... We ordered a red and a white... absolute perfection.
I grew up in East Haven, Ct currently live in Orlando Florida and one of the best pizzas I have ever had has been here at piece pizza in Chicago. Dare I say better than the originator of new haven style pizza frank pepes apizza. I tried deep dish I tried tavern style and this place just hits the spot. Also add on that they have really great beer and this is truly a win. Should I ever find myself back in Chicago I will be here.

Good selection of pizza, pub vibe and a little loud, dirty bathrooms.
We always get our pizza here when we're in town and it's always delicious. Service is great!

My order was carry out. Very very disappointed in their pizza. Had high hopes of great Chicago pizza but his was far from it. The pizza had a decent taste for pepperoni and sausage, but the pizza was SUPER greasy. The cheese didn’t even cover all of the pizza to the crust. Each time I picked up a slice, the toppings slid off the crust. Utter bullshit! I paid $40 for medium pizza that was super disappointing. I only chose this place because some wicker park locals recommended it. But sad to say I won’t be back. Next time I’ll follow my gut and find true Chicago thin crust pizza. This place gets a 1 out of 10

Piece is great as usual. We had absolutely great friendly service. Our group had 4 pizzas of different sizes and everything came out great. Oktoberfist and Worryin' Beer were both fantastic brews. A bit pricey but so good. Parking is of course a nightmare, take public transit.
gluten free pizza is one of the best i’ve had!! sauce and cheese are really tasty

Excellent place with really good pizza and a some really nice beers!
Second time visiting this place but the first time that i try their pizza, and it really lived up to my expectations!
The brewery brew some really good pilsners. My favourite is the Door Code, a german pilsner. But also The Weight (pale ale), Top Heavy Hefeweizen and O'Rourken for the Weekend (Dortmund lager) are exceptionally good!
Its well worth to visit this place and the area too!

I am baffled how they continue to find new ways to mess up our order. Somehow our order “extra sauce” became no sauce & extra cheese with meatballs added. This time they didn’t argue when we asked for a refund, but we often have to fight to get one. I’ve been disappointed too many times by then. I’m done. It’s sad, they make really good pizza - when they bother to try.
