Very nice place, very clean for a brick and mortar stand next to lake michigan, and Buckingham fountain. The pies are very good. The staff are good people, and considering some of the nutjobs they have to put up with on a daily basis they're doing a great job.
PieLife in the Loop is a solid spot for a quick slice. I tried the Sicilian Vodka slice and the Grandma slice. Both were tasty, with crispy crusts and flavorful sauces. The Sicilian had a nice balance of garlic cream and tomato, while the Grandma was thin and crispy. The staff was friendly, and service was quick. Only downside is the limited seating. Spent about $11 total. Worth a stop if you're nearby.
