Definitely worth leaving a warm house on a cold day! Great barszcz with a spicy zing, hearty hunter's stew and delicious sausage!
Stumbled upon this cute little restaurant. We had never tried a pierogi eggs benedict so we were quite intrigued. The pierogi were fresh, cooked with leeks and hollandaise sauce. Such a simple but great dish!

Place was cold , poor service one person serving everyone, soup came together with main dish 40 min after we order at 11.30 Tuesday when we came was nobody there waitress didn’t ask for drinks just serve water this is not even close to polish restaurant not recommended
In brief: if you want to have an "approximation" of how polish cuisine can be... It's a good place.
For those who had explored the polish cuisine in detail, or have the reference of the best pierogi place (it has travelers choice badges in GMaps, Trip Advisor and others) in Poland, in particular, in Kraków... It's not a good place to spend the money in.
I ate potato and cheese pierogi (Pierogi ruskie), with a żurek and a salad (I don't know why they didn't even take the time to write the names properly or even not write them).
Pierogi was greasy, it had some weird egg smell, it had a taste like butter and the worst thing... It was made with this kind of smashed potato mix that sells in supermarkets (I even remember the milk taste of that smashed potatoes mix). As far as I know, pierogi are cooked with water, not with oil.
Żurek was good (3/5) but has the same problem... Oil.
Salad... It wasn't a salad. Salad needs to be fresh and natural. I asked one with some feta cheese (a little bit out of the Polish cuisine border) and it was greasy as hell and the cheese was like taken from a Philadelphia cheese thing.
So that was my comment for customers.
Constructive comment for owners: Don't put a lot of oil in the food... There is no need. If you ask the money you asked for each of those dishes, at least it needs to be as fresh as they are (I know that fruits and vegetables are not the same... But this is not an argument for the amount of oil I received).
Waiting time was according to the complexity of dishes, so no comments in that. The waiter was a little bit though
Dietary restrictions: Mmm I think it's not the right place if you want to eat healthy, even if you want to ask for a salad.

Stop by for brunch on Sunday. They play all the pop hit lol! The pierogi Benedict was so good, especially the potatoes cubes! They put paprika and something else but it’s like crack seasoning omg. The pierogi was pair perfectly with bacon and egg yolk and the potato. Highly would order this again. The stuffed cabbage is very nice and light (like a meatball inside a steam cabbage). Very fresh and well seasoned tomato sauce with the dish.
Note: the pierogi by itself is pretty simple, I’d order something with sauce so you can dip it kinda thing?

went here last year when it opened and had a wonderful experience.
came back tonight to be sat down and blatantly ignored for twenty minutes.
the waiter even said he would bring us menus, then repeatedly went to other tables that arrived AFTER us and gave them menus and took their orders without even acknowledging us.
genuinely weird, rude, uncomfortable vibes. what a shame.
Perogi are awesome. Servers are really nice. Great outdoor space.

Cozy bar, delicious food (so perfect and cute for this historic neighborhood!), kindest service. Love it
The price of the food is less bang for your buck. However, the items we had were good. We had to wait a while to order, for food to arrive and to get the check. It seems like they are short staffed. I hope they get things in order because the food was good.

Rolled into here after an event. It was open, we were tired and a little hungry, and brats sounded good - basic Polish food. We were pleasantly surprised at the scope of the menu. The Hunter's Stew with kielbasa with homemade bread was tasty. Definitely will return, maybe for the weekend brunch.

This was my first time eating Polish food and it was pretty good. We got the dumplings equivalent in sour croute and cheese and it was very filling.
Parking: Stick with finding parking on the Main Street. The side street require permit

What a gem! The food here is delicious and authentic, just like being back in Poland. They have a great selection of Polish beer and spirits that perfectly complement the dishes. The pierogi with brisket were absolutely worth trying—rich and flavorful.
The cucumber soup (zupa ogórkowa) tasted exactly like my mom's, bringing back wonderful memories.
The service was also top-notch. Both waiter and owner were incredibly friendly, checking in multiple times to make sure everything was perfect and even stopping by for some pleasant small talk. Such a great experience overall! Highly recommend for anyone craving real Polish food in Chicago.
This captures both the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere!
