Jeremy, the host, did an outstanding job accommodating us from the moment we arrived. Even though there was a wait, he got us seated very quickly and was incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. He truly went out of his way to place us at the best possible table based on our needs, which made a big difference in our experience.
Huge shoutout as well to Roger and Cesar—exceptional industry professionals who clearly bring years of experience, care, and work ethic to everything they do. I’ve seen them at multiple establishments over the years, and having them at Pilsen Yards is a real asset to the team. They were both extremely helpful, welcoming, and accommodating, and their presence alone elevates the space.
The food is always excellent, the vibes are consistently great, and the service is a major reason my friend (a regular) and I will continue coming back. Pilsen Yards continues to deliver on all fronts.

Easy, fast, and professional every time
The host was very energetic and and welcoming when we walked in. Made us feel like family. Their burger special was the highlight of the experience along with the chips and guacamole. Highly recommend!
Had a great time. The muscles are to die for. I would drink the sauce if it was socially acceptable. Service was fantastic as well
the bartenders are so great. We had an awesome meal, and they were very attentive and fun.
The host was amazing! The ambiance was incredible! The food was absolutely delicious! Brunch was an incredible experience overall!
Locals, love this place. This is a definite must whenever visiting Pilsen. The staff is on point., can't tell you how good it feels when they treat you like an old friend, even if it's your first time dining with them. Food is exceptional. Ambiance is great. Sitting at the bar has to be our favorite place, but their outdoor space is also a favorite. I would definitely recommend advance reservations, but their staff is accommodating and will try to seat you quickly if they can. Highly recommend, it never disappoints. 😋
We are frequent pilsen yards goers. We gave their NYE party a try and had a lot of fun. They were very accommodating of our large group reservation, and while we had to wait for our table a bit, they made up for it during the reservation.
The taco tortillas and the nachos weren't as good as they usually are, idk if the chef was having a rough day.... also they knew it was my bday but didn't bring out any dessert lol - silver lining was that the vibe and service was great !

Our waiter was excellent, and the food was outstanding. We definitely go back again. The pisco punch is a must have.
Love bringing new people here, those who have been and sometimes just going solo to sit at the bar. The food is always amazing, especially the braised beef nachos, and the service is consistently excellent. Jeremy, the manager, has fantastic energy and is the best! I’ve always felt welcome and safe and really enjoy supporting local that has a good vibe and good people.

Some of best tacos I’ve ever had. The meat is tender and flavorful, the queso is awesome, the chipotle hummus is to die for. Love coming here!

Stopped in on a whim and was embraced by Charlie the bartender of the night. Great attitude!! Ordered the Chips Salsa, Guacamole, Beef Barbacoa Tacos and Chicken Flautas and was pleasantly surprised by the great food quality and flavor!!
A must try in the area!!

Service was great, everyone was lovely. We had a great time chatting with our server.
Review is 2 stars for the WORST Al Pastor tacos we’ve ever had. They were floppy slices of pork (looked like a thick slice of bacon or pork belly) with unmarinated raw chopped pineapple. No taste, terrible texture.
3 of us each ordered one with our meal, and none of us ate them. They were hilariously weird tacos, and definitely not recognizable as al pastor. Listen - I know we’re a group of white people, but we are life-long Chicagoans so we know those al pastor tacos are literally a crime and insult to authentic Mexican food. Especially in Pilsen. I wish I took a picture!
