Had such a fun time at Pilsen Yards on a Saturday evening. The ambience is lively and energetic, and the DJ was incredible, playing R&b and other fun hits. I got the carne asada and it was so tasty! I definitely thought about it the next day and would recommend this dish.

Really enjoyed my experience here! The queso fundido, fish taco, and Pepino mocktail were my faves! The flautas were decent but could use more flavor. Get the tres leches if you have room for dessert! Ambience is great especially since they have indoor and outdoor seating so there’s great natural lighting toward the back. They also had a DJ spinning vinyl on Saturday night. Best of all, the server was great and the food came out fast…s/o to Goldie. Excited to go back!Parking: Lots of permit parking in the area but there are some paid parking meter streets.

Sweet corn tamales and burger were decent. One of the best pub burger I’ve had. Taco meat was a bit dry. I haven’t tried but my friends said Chilaquiles was great.

The bartender was upset after we asked why received our martinis in Vegas bombs shot glasses. All we asked was a question and he began yelling at us over the situation. It was a simple question. Guillermo shouldn’t be behind the bar if he’s going to attack customers over a simple question. He then proceeded to speak about our group to the people around the bar creating a uncomfortable atmosphere.

I recently visited Pilsen Yards to celebrate a birthday. I was NOT disappointed. This was my second visit and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. My sister and I parked on the street near the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were seated near the back inside but by the patio. The restaurant has beautiful art and is very open and spacious. It was kind of loud and dimly lit, a vibe. The food!!!!!! First we started with chips with guacamole and salsa. We both tried the Heat of Passion cocktail. It was perfectly sweetened and refreshing. We both loved it. We had the Shrimp Ceviche, Piña Colada Tuna Ceviche, Fish tacos, Shrimp taco, and Beef Barbacoa taco. We weren't fans of the shrimp taco as the chipotle spices were overpowering. The staff was very friendly and immediately replaced the shrimp taco with another one we preferred. Also, I wish I would've read thoroughly about the coconut in the tuna ceviche, it was too sweet for my liking. Otherwise, the food was AMAZING and we will definitely be back.
Get the fish tacos and sweet corn tamales! The almonds and bang bang aioli on the tacos were so good!

I've been a few times, and while the location is fantastic and the space is beautiful, I left quite disappointed on my last visit which has soured me from Pilsen Yards. We came in towards the end of their night (they close early for bars in pilsen!) and I ordered their signature margarita. The only worse margarita I've ever had was a $1 margarita at Applebees. It truly was just an awful sour mix with some tequila thrown in. I don't mean to be dramatic, but for how bad that one margarita was, it's kind of ruined Pilsen Yards in general for me, and when I'm in Pilsen, there's a ton of other bars nearby that are just as good if not better.

Took my best friend here for her birthday brunch and she loved it. It was just her and I but the atmosphere was very chill and welcoming. Our server Joy was honestly such a cherry on top. Not only did she provide amazing service and drink recommendations, but she also helped me sing happy birthday to my friend. Over all a great experience. Will be coming back.
