PiniPico Coffee & Empanadas Reviews
PiniPico is a Brazilian cafe along N. Clark Street that is open from 7am to 6pm (weekdays) and 8am to 6pm (weekends). They have a fair-sized indoor seating area as well as a couple of tables outside. Menu features empanadas and a selection of house coffee drinks. I had a nicely prepared Cortado, a good blend of milk with the nicely flavoured espresso. This was a really good coffee, one I'd gladly return to order again. Wish I hadn't eaten lunch before coming here. Would have been...read full review

PiniPico Coffee & Empanadas is an adorable little cafe and solid spot in the neighbourhood, near Lincoln Park and several museums. It is a favourite for breakfast, offering always fresh and delicious empanadas like chorizo, Spinach & Feta, and Frizole, as well as unique Brazilian pastries and cheese bread. The coffee is pretty good, with proper dry cappuccinos, great lattes, and a strong pistachio coffee. Other highlights include the absolutely delicious Copacabana smoothie, mango juice, and açaí bowls. The service is super friendly and kind, with amazing baristas. The interior has great design with a huge picture of Rio, patio seating, two-top tables, and free wifi. It is incredibly well priced and usually not very crowded.
