I hate to give bad reviews but I was so disappointed in this I have to. This was the most bland dry chicken shawarma I have ever had. Actually I’ve never had a bad chicken shawarma so I didn’t even think it was possible. Not worth it!

This is not Pita Heaven anymore, it's some horrible corporate concept kitchen thing with junk options from multiple venues. The menu that represents the old Pita Heaven section is awful, not authentic anymore, not original, and way overpriced. It is NOT the same. I also don't want a can of soda. They've completely redecorated and made it so generic and sterile. I will say the one employee I talked to was lovely, polite,and helpful. But ?

This place is now many different corporate fast food restaurants all in one. I got a chicken pita, and it was the worst I've ever had. So many better places across Chicago. It had no taste to it whatsoever. Edible, but that was about it. I guess that's what you get when you don't specialize in one thing.

The place was nice and clean, perfect spot for a meet and greet or just standard lunch date + the staff was very nice and friendly also. We needed a little help placing our orders and they didn’t hesitate to assist us at all. I’m definitely going back sometime next month

I ordered a gyro wrap which was processed meat, cut real thin and nasty. They are currently under new ownership and no longer offer the previous specials, their food is extremely nasty. Patrons was coming in asking for the Tuesday special to be told they no longer offer. They should be glad they did not waste their money like i did.. If you love real gyros go back to Greek town. Do not waste your money like I did. I spent $11.11 and want my money back will not be going back

Quality has went way down since new ownership/partnership with Epic Kichens. Food is bland barely any flavor at all. Pita Heaven use to be a go to for my wife and I sad to say we will not be eating here again.

Had an excellent gyro plate. Well, it was definitely delicious. I’m not sure I am qualified to rate its authenticity as Grecian cuisine, but it was good to me!

They got rid of 3/4 of their menu. Took off the philly cheese steak which was the only thing I ate. Tried the gyro wrap and it was mids. Won’t be coming back.Saw another guy walk in and ask for the same thing. Seems like the down fall for pita heaven.
I was sad, but not surprised, to see new ownership get rid of the daily specials. But they also changed the food and it’s not good. You can’t jack up the prices and make the food worse!Unfortunately, a good neighborhood spot is gone.

Interesting concept in that they have 3 separate cuisines/menus: Mediterranean, burgers, and Asian. Our falafel wraps were good, but they use a small pita so it's more like a taco than a wrap - very hard for my 5-year-old to handle. Hubby said his gyro wrap and fries were too salty.

Went in to grab a quick to go order when jimmy John’s was closed and wow am I happy. I got the gyro wrap and it’s fantastic. Ton of food, good value for the price, and so yummy.

Honestly, since moving back to the area, I've been able to sample almost every menu item on Pita Heaven's menu. This place is just really freaking good. My favorites are the Half Greek chicken, the Greek fries, and shockingly the burger. The fries here are like crack. The staff are down to earth and outgoing as well. A great operation.
