I was going to e-mail the owner directly instead of posting here but they did not have one listed. This was the first time I have eaten here and got a bowl with chicken. EVERY single piece of chicken was either a glob of skin or a glob of fat, in addition, I asked if there were onions in the bowl, to which I was told no (without them really checking, he just looked over his shoulder pretending to ask..) and I couldn't eat half of it because there were red onions which I am allergic. Essentially I picked out the beets and the pita which was the extent of my meal. Plenty other good Mediterranean options in the loop, don't bother.

One of the tastiest Mediterranean bowls I’ve had yet! The spicy feta and yogurt flavors were great and staff were friendly. Price is a little steep for a bowl, but worth it.

I had the spicy siren. The quantity and flavor were great. The spice could be elevated.

I've eaten at Pitaki several times both at a table and takeaway. It's so delicious. My favorite is the Greek Caesar salad. It's just light and flavorful, the chicken is cooked perfectly and has a ton of flavors. I get the Baklava sometimes and it's amazing. It has a chocolate drizzle that hits the sweet craving. The restaurant is clean and minimalist which I love. The staff is always friendly. I've been taken care of by Julian and Nia both were kind and attentive. Made sure I was happy with my order. Will continue to go

Delightful. Had the Klassiko pita with chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect a quick lunch when in the area.
Food is very good. Service is terrible and employees are very rude.

I don't appreciate being lied to and being told that the cashier i spoke to was the manager. She told me TWICE she wasn't the manager, and the manager was in the back potentially on a call. She also APOLOGIZED and said she wasn't the manager. If you're gonna lie in response to honest reviews to customers, i don't want anything to do with you. She handled my issue just fine, and I don't appreciate your team trying to make it look like something it isn't to save face in your clearly flailing Google reviews.
They forgot items in my order. I literally talked with the cashier about the fries and other sides for 2 minutes, until I decided on the fries. They forgot them. They don’t answer their phone or give receipts so I had to go back in the the sweltering sun to correct it. When I arrived to the store again there were only two customers inside, and half the staff was doing nothing. Why couldn't they answer the phone? Completely frustrating to the point I got a refund and retuned the food without taking a bite of anything. when I asked for a manager, they completely ignored me and instead gave me the same cashier despite admitting the manager was present. Will never return again and i live in the neighborhood… wanted to try the food for the first time but guess not. Good luck staying open! The pita they gave me looked fine but for $15? Barely any food or meat. Yea, right.

Overall, I enjoyed Pitaki! The first time I visited, I had a bowl and it was absolutely delicious and had great flavor. The second time, I tried a wrap and found it a bit underwhelming in comparison. I think Pitaki is a solid spot, especially if you find the menu items that work best for your taste. I’d definitely go back, but I’ll be sticking to the bowls!

Got Harvest salad with added grilled halumi, paid $21 which is steep but it is west loop. What I didn’t expect is to find that portion is really small and some greens shouldn’t even be used for the salad, withered and slimy. Very disappointing quality, I hope you can take this feedback and improve.

The food is very overpriced for the offered quality. I paid $32 (before tip) for one klasiko souvlaki with lamb, an order of fries and a horiatiki salad. In Athens, I can get the exact same order at many fantastic souvlatzidika for a third of the price!
The fries are extremely heavily salted and over-seasoned. In reality, they are only supposed to have a little salt and some oregano. They were far too salty for me to finish the whole portion.
The klasiko was ok and the lamb is tasty but a klasiko souvlaki is supposed to be with pork, cubed and marinated in oil and oregano and lemon. This one wasn't quite lamb gyros. It was also missing paprika.
The horiatiki was good except that the small Cretan olives were pitted. Greeks never use pitted olives in our salads (we know how to eat olives with pits). The tomatoes were not nearly as good as tomatoes grown in Greece. Also the salad cost $11 for a small portion. In Athens, you get a massive horiatiki with a large slab of feta (could be a complete meal) for 10 euros.
The service was good except that no one there speaks Greek!

We ate at Pitaki today, and ordered the Colossus Pita, Spicy Siren Pita, and the zucchini appetizer. The pitas were good but could have used much more flavor. They were quite bland. The zucchini looked like they'd been sitting in oil. They were very soggy and the breading was completely soaked in oil. It was a disappointing experience. 3 stars because the pitas were edible.
