Our first night in Chicago we wanted some good Italian food that was close to our hotel. Pizano's was recommended to us from a local born and raised here in Chicago. The staff could not have been nicer and the food was delicious! We had the chopped salad, a deep dish pizza and the Gnocchi alla Hot Mama recommended to us by our waitress. All of it was delicious. The portion sizes are enormous so we left with a bag of food which we enjoyed the next day.

Perfect place to dine before a Sky game. Great location, a variety of food options, great service, fair prices.

Went with a large group of adults and kids on a Thursday evening. We had 3 tables of 6 people. Everything was fine to start, service was a tad slow but it was busy in the restaurant so nothing to dock them on. We were the second of the three tables to order. Our garlic cheese bread appetizer came out in a normal time after ordering and was great. But here is where it goes south. The other two tables in our group received their food and our table was a bit distract chatting and playing games. It started to feel like it had been a while since we ordered and when we looked at the rest of our group, they were done eating and we hadn't even gotten the pastas and pizza we ordered. We had been at the restaurant for around 1.25 hrs at this point and still hadn't eaten. I asked the waiter and he went to check and said it would be 3 more minutes...more like 5+. When it came out they only brought out 2 of the 3 things we ordered and had to go search for the last dish. The hot melty deep dish pizza I was so looking forward to was cold and hard as if it had been sitting on the service ready counter of 30-40 min when the rest of our group was eating. When I told the waiter he offered to heat it up in the back...no thanks. The manager was useless and inconsiderate of what had happen and just kept going on and on about how it was on a separate ticket and she doesn't understand how it could have happen and didn't know what goes on in the kitchen. The food runners were very confused bring food out to tables. Some went to the wrong section and others asked the table if they ordered the dish they were holding. Don't get me wrong, the flavor of the pizza tasted great but was disappointing because it was cold and tough.

One of the worst meals I have ever had in Chicago I ordered the mushroom risotto with a side of grilled chicken What was served was a tasteless glob of sticky rice w canned mushrooms no chicken My husband ordered the spinach ravioli and meatballs Both were tasteless with no hint of seasonings Our server spent several minutes telling us about her planters facetious continuing even though our soup and salad were delivered What an awful way to end a great weekend

Great place. Perfect for a family of 4 for Valentine's Day. Parking was kind of a pain to find, but other than that it was a very enjoyable evening. Our server was outstanding and the complimentary dessert was awesome. The kids said it was a 10/10! Thank you!!

So good on Saturday night, we went back Sunday for the Super Bowl. Great food both nights. The wings were top notch. The service here is incredible. Such a friendly atmosphere. Makes me want to move to Chicago. Love this place.

This is one of two of the best gluten-free pizza establishments in the city. Plan ahead as it's 30 minutes, but the crust is not a store-bought Udi's pre-prepared. It's fresh and delicious.

Chicago style pizza, good but not memorable. It would be enough to compensate for his wait (almost an hour, and we knew it), but not rude, unsympathetic, never smiling and practically non-existent service.
Tip already entered on the account and charged even though it was crossed off upon signature.
Further confirmation, if any were needed, that the place is to be avoided.

An very old female worker at the register was always very rude, arrogant and nasty!

Parking: It's very hard to find a parking spot and ticket guys are always fishing around here and giving out a parking ticket for a profit!!

Where the deep dish isn't so deep. We loved the buttery crust and manageable deep dish.

1/5, great food but be ready to wait over 2 hours to just cook some pasta in water after order being taken. Why make a reservation? They will just have you wait like anyone walking off the street. Will NEVER return. Very unprepared for a high volume night.

We went to Pizanos pizza and pasta because we were in Chicago and wanted to experience authentic deep dish pizza. When there we even indulged in the local Pizanos Handshake which was something everyone (over 21) needs to try at least once in their lifetime. Overall we left full and happy!

Kid-friendliness: My 7 yr old nephew was able to have his spaghetti specialized the way he wanted it.
