This place is awesome. Delicious pizza, classic feel, and friendly staff. Both classic and tavern styles are great, and don't sleep on the salads. Couldn't be more kid-friendly.

Expensive dog water tasting pizza. I wouldn't even eat it if I'm drunk. Should be called "Pizza Mala". Who in their right mind allows this place to serve this pizza. Honestly, the taste is so off putting. It's not pizza. Ramsey would agree and would shut this place down.

They make the absolute, hands down, best meatball grinder I've ever had. Everything about it is otherworldly.
The meatballs are well flavored and have the ideal texture and consistency one could ask of a meatball. There's an herby, garlicky flavor which is very noticeable without being overwhelming.
The sauce is just a little sweet, just enough to contrast with the meat. There was mozzarella and it seemed like a little bit of ricotta too, but not too much to make it gloopy.
The bread was perfect, really more of a hard, crusty, fresh baked roll. It provided a crunchy contrast while standing up to the healthy heaping of ball and sauce and cheese.
It was the best sandwich I've had all year and the best meatball sandwich I've ever had.

PLEASE stop using Door dash! I LOVE your pizza but when it shows up cold and have to chase the driver down the street, it makes me not want to order from you. $70 for a cold pizza doesn’t put a good face forward for how good your pizza is. I cancels my DD account and hopefully you can too without taking a hit on your profits. But this order was the last straw.

Pizza is tasty with good ingredients. However, the prices make it tough to justify returning when there are just as good options elsewhere. $20 for the salads is too much for me.

Pizza Matta sponsored my son’s soccer team so after the last game of the season we decided to stop in there for dinner with another soccer family. The space is small with three tables but when we got there it was open so we were able to put the kids at one table and the adults at another. The kids all enjoyed pizza by the slice and the adults shared the most delicious salad (pepperoni salad) and a tavern style pizza with sausage and gardinaria (sp?) The food was fantastic! The gentleman working was also great! When the kids were done eating he brought out some coloring activities for them and even showed them the back where and how the pizzas were made! He was so great!

Pizza Matta will definitely be added to our rotation of regular pizza joints we order from!

Stopped in for some slices, a tavern style pie and a salad. Everything was excellent, the kids actually ate all of their pizza and some salad. The tavern style was incredibly thin and delicious. To top it all off the owner was kind and patient with our kids, let them color on a pizza peel, showed them how the pizza was made, and just made it a special visit.

Beautiful area. The workers are nice and the pizza is amazing. Best pizza I’ve had so far. Salad was amazing and tasted delicious. This restaurant is a 5 star.

Vegetarian options: Salads and cheese pizza.

Dietary restrictions: There’s salad here. Number of things you can eat.

Parking: Lots of street parking.

Kid-friendliness: I brought my 4 year old son here and they treated him so respectfully. They said hi and asked him about what he likes to do, this is so far the best pizza place ever.

Wheelchair accessibility: Big area to roll in your wheelchair.

I really enjoy the pizza here. The crust is the perfect level of crispy, the cheese is flavorful. Every time I get a slice here I eat the whole thing and enjoy every single bite. Don't really understand some of the bad reviews, $4 for a slice of really good pizza is a GREAT deal.

You can find other places that might give you bigger slices but they'll cost more and they won't be as consistent as Pizza Matta.

There's not much going on in the actual restaurant but the service is great and it's a quiet place where you can easily sit down and eat a quick slice.

I highly recommend you stop in and try this pizza.

Rolled the dice last night and ordered from Pizza Matta for the first time. We ordered delivery and had the pep& mushroom tavern style along with the beet salad. I was surprised how good the beet salad was. It is big enough for two and had a good amount of each ingredient. As for the pizza, I do like tavern style as it's super thin and the ingredients were really good. I would recommend it as itwas worth the roll of the dice. ?

Nice little local place. The pizza itself is pretty average they have the basic toppings but $6 and something for a slice of pizza feels like a hard sell in all honesty
