Tried this spot for the first time and am glad that I did! My pizza was cooked fast and perfectly. The toppings weren't skimped and I received 10% off at the register without asking. Crust was thin and crispy. I would absolutely recommend this place for pizza.

I went more into detail on yelp but basically Me and my friends went there and left a tip and we're waiting outside for a friend to finish using the bathroom The owner runs out and says have u never been to a restaurant before? If you're going to leave a 0% GO TO MCDONALDS. I say we did leave a tip? It's on the table and he yells WELL ITS NOT THERE. And leaves then I run in and take 1 look at the table and our tip is there THEY CLEANED THE TABLE AND THEY STILL DIDNT SEE IT??? Anyways I say SIR. And pick up up the cash show him and throw it back down then he says I'm sorry. And I js leave and his wife was trying to explain to us why he did that and we still didn’t care. You don’t talk to people like that. The owner was rude and I feel sorry for the boy who made a mistake and probably will get punished for his bosses even BIGGER mistake. Read the 1 star reviews and READ THE OWNERS REPLIES. There’s a clear difference from when the owner is replying and his wife is. this wife was sweet, the workers were sweet. The owner ruined it all. )also if you’re going to blame your mistakes on your own customers using grub hub and Ubereats to order and calling it their mistake then WHY do you have a Uber eats and grub hub? I have no problem ordering from Uber eats but apparently it happens to only your place? Don’t blame these other customers for your mistake.) He states he’s made 20 million in sales but press his customers for not leaving an OPTIONAL tip? how lame. Only thing I regret is not taking my money back.
ALSO! Replying to the owners reply! We put the tip under in the middle of the table actually! Check your cameras before you accuse me of something. Second I was the 1 who tips and my boyfriend was the one who went up to pay the actual bill. He didn’t know how much I was going to tip so he didn’t write it. take a second to think! And it’s not my fault that YOU decided to not check and make a decision without thinking first! Also I didn’t owe you a tip EITHER WAY! If I had not tipped that wouldn’t give any right to yell at customers like that! I also like you to read the part where it says YOU CLEANED THE TABLE AND STILL didn’t see it? When I walked back in the tip was not where I put it and NO ONE in my group had moved it. MEANING YOUR employees had picked it up and moved it. Meaning he SAW it. grow up man, and take responsibility for your actions. also why would I write the tip on the receipt? I wanted to leave a CASH tip. You only write it on the receipt if it’s a card tip. Even as a highschooler I know how to take accountability. Remember! This isn’t high school so use your ADULT thinking

I've eaten here once and the food was okay. But what I really don't like is the fact that their menu has not been updated. The prices are considerably more so come prepared with a few extra bucks. I won't go back. I don't like it when people don't keep up on their prices. I don't like surprises. I don't like switcheroos either.
How could it be that my son went to eat today, October 6, with his friends, a person comes and they tell my son that if they have never been to eat at a restaurant, they should have better gone to eat at McDonald's because he thought they had not I left tips and they left it under the plate where they ate when they respond that if I sauté politely after I treat them badly it bothers me that people don't know how to treat people and the owner should teach them that tips are not an obligation their obligation is to treat people well because that is their job and that is why they are paid where I work the clients are treated very kindly and tips are not mandatory for the same reason the people who work in these places behave like this and well since the owners who do not teach their workers... I think I do not recommend the place to anyone, bad reputation not for its food but for the attention of the workers ?

delivery pizza and tiramisu on time, delicious, friendly phone service. I had to try dine in and was not disappointed at all! ordered penne Italian sausage with spinach and creamy sauce with garlic bread, side salad and coffee. Loved it! My new go-to Italian spot in Uptown for sure. Staff is quick, courteous, place is clean and they have kids menu, seasonal specials, dessert offerings and cocktails. great atmosphere, tv and music but not too loud or busy, with upstair dining area from main floor. You will not be disappointed. Ok for groups or solo BEST tiramisu and Uptown Chicago pizza I've EVER had

Food was delicious, comforting. Really hit the spot.
Nice place, if they had a loyalty program I'd visit more often. Food excellent, great portions.
Staff lacks diversity. Female server silently refused service but the manager stepped up, got us started, and handed us off to a great server.

Wound up at Aroma with the girlfriend on an early Saturday evening after trying to find a decent Italian place in Edgewater. VERY glad we came across this place. We were seated very quickly, and our food was ready in no time.
I had the meat ravioli in marinara; she had the lasagna w/meat sauce. Both were very tasty, and both had great portions for the price.
I'm not in the neighborhood very often but I'll make a point to stop back in and try something else next time I find myself there.
Food was not good at all ?

Huge menu, something that everyone will like. Their pizza crusts are vegan, so it's easy to build your own delicious vegan pizza.
Dietary restrictions: Their crusts are vegan, and I have made several build-your-own pizzas, I just ask for no cheese. They don't skimp on the veggie toppings, and their pizza sauce is really good. Really great option for a vegan pizza

We had dinner at Pizzera Aroma last night, we were very pleased with our meals, I had a taste for a burger, and it did not disappoint. It was cooked to my liking and very flavorful, and the portion sizes are generous. My wife had a pizza and it was delicious. All the toppings were very fresh. This was our first time dining at the restaurant and I would have to say I would definitely go back there.
It was my birthday and I wanted to try a new restaurant and support our local business.
