A solid Chicago pizza option. Loud, a bit chaotic, and easier to get in than most other pizza shops.

It was ok. Didn't live up to my expectations. The pizza was fine. The pasta was disappointing. Maybe it's because we visited during lunch...? I would hope that their kitchen is consistent at least. The service was sub par. Our server pretty much skipped over us, which is odd bc they weren't busy. I do appreciate the server that interacted with all the departing guests and wished them well. Besides that experience, I was kind of bummed about everything else.

Summer… is the worst server I’ve ever had, she was rude and disrespectful. First, she was snappy at my whole group. My order came out wrong, they brought my pizza with green peppers, but I ordered banana peppers She told me that they were out of banana peppers so they put green peppers on there instead. I told her that I didn’t think that was cool for them to just change my order without checking with me first. She said “I’m not the cook” do you want the pizza or not?

I spoke to the manager, Eric, he was so nice and very accommodating. He was apologetic and group us a large pizza on the house.

Summer kept coming to the table and saying rude things under her breath. She never brought me another drink or asked if I wanted anything. She was horrible to our whole table.

Food was good, and it if it wasn’t for summer we would have had a good experience.

Great food. I got a personal deep dish pizza Togo. Be aware that all deep dish take 45 minutes to cook regardless of the size. I didn’t mind waiting and the staff was really chill. Next time i am in Chicago, I will be coming here to eat

The service alone from Aaron was well worth the visit, but the food is also good and the cocktails hit the spot.

The scent of tomato and melted cheese lingered in the air like an unspoken confession. The kind of aroma that could make even the most stoic detective drop his guard. I found myself at a legendary corner of Chicago where crime is low, but cholesterol is high. The neon “DUE” sign glowed like a signal in the sky, promising a night of indulgence and slight regret.

Inside, it wasn’t just a pizzeria. It was an initiation. You don’t order here, you build. The dough sat in a dark pan like a mystery waiting to unfold, surrounded by accomplices: pepperoni, onions, green peppers. A class in deep dish architecture. I rolled up my metaphorical sleeves (the real ones are plastic) and assembled justice one layer at a time. When the pizza finally emerged from the oven, it had more structure than half the city’s infrastructure.

The sauce was a theatre, a red curtain hiding the molten heart of mozzarella beneath. Each bite was a crime of passion. I’d cracked the case of why locals call this a classic. It’s not pizza; it’s edible fortification.

Detective Tips:
• Arrive early when the pans are still cold and the staff still patient.
• The deep dish class is worth it if you like to play both chef and hero.
• Take photos before the first slice. After that, chaos reigns.

BEWARE OF...
• Burnt paper. They cook the index card in the oven on top of your pizza - puzzling.
• Underestimating the density; this pizza could double as body armor.
• Timing your reservation. They rushed us out because they had another group coming in behind us.
• Forgetting your leftovers; they’ll haunt you like an unsolved case.

Now this place is extremely well known, I’ve definitely enjoyed a pie or two at unos in the past but never due my only complaint is deep dish can be a little too much at times. Never have I tried your thin crust till today I’m glad I stopped in, had a buddy along he was in wheelchair, they had a ramp to get up the big step out front but they had to retrieve it from a storage room by the front door, staff was super friendly, we showed up at 2pm had food by 2:20pm, crispy well cooked crunchy pizza, good flavor in the cheese and sauce and it was extremely delicious ate the entire pizza. Definitely will be coming more often thank you for adding thin crust to your menu.

Great Chicago Pizza joint! Was the first place we went when we got into town. The service was great and the pizza was awesome. We got this crust and it was delicious. They also have a small bar area.

Stopped in because we were starving, ordered the thin crust sausage they gave us a pepperoni. Would have been a problem because my wife hates pepperoni but she actually loved the pepperoni from here. So no reason to complain

Very great pizza and entire place. We have found it as one of still open spots for pizza after 21.00 in downtown area during walk and was really lucky choice.
