Visiting Chicago and wanted deep dish pizza. We happened upon this restaurant as we walked to our architect tour. Didn't realize this was the home for deep dish pizza!!
Service was great! Pizza was great (even though I had to figure out how to eat it! 😂 ). Atmosphere was quiet the day we were there. It it quaint, warm, and feels like the local bar Cheers.
Highly recommend!

Chicago OG Deep Dish pizza. The place is nice. Historic. Very friendly staff. And old school decor. Meals are big and hearty. A must try when in Chicago.

Pizzeria Uno is a must when you’re in Chicago. The deep-dish pizza is rich, flavorful, and exactly what you’re hoping for when you think of Chicago-style pizza. Great experience and definitely worth the stop when you’re in town.

Yummy food, our server was great, it wasn’t busy and he took forever to get back with things.

This is an iconic tourist stop. It was relatively crowded when we arrived, but several tables were available. We were seated, and our order was taken a few minutes later. We ordered a small pizza and 2 sodas. After almost an hour, the waiter stopped by and asked if we got our food. Of course not, we hadn't, and what was left of our sodas was just melted ice cubes. He then asked me to remind him what we ordered. I did, and about 20 minutes later our pizza arrived - no explanation. After serving us a piece, it was cold. Minutes later, he presented us with our check, and comped the sodas. He asked if everything was alright. I paid, but I wouldn't recommend the experience.

We ordered their famous pizza
I ordered one with pepperoni and italian beef and my wife ordered the plain one
The portions are very big ! I didnt finish mine
So be aware when you order
Also the pizza take roughly 45 min to be prepared
For our taste the pizzas wasn’t great, too much tomato, too much sauces, but Its just the personal taste, since the ingredients were obviously well prepared.
On top of all that, the staff were very friendly and also warned us that we took too much food (but we didnt listen to them)
If u like those flavors, u should try it, but for me it wasn’t that good, but again, its my personal taste, the food itself didnt have any issues

If you love deep-dish pizza, check out this place. We wanted to try it, based on a friend's recommendation, but we have settled on the fact that we do not like deep-dish pizza.
The appetizer (see picture) had too much Parmesan, overshadowing all the other flavors, so it was okay.
The pizza did not stick with me or have any flavors that popped out that left me amazed.
Everything was just good.

We took a huge group of colleagues and students to Uno last week while we were in Chicago on a field trip and I HAVE to shout out the staff for their incredible hospitality. Diangelo, in particular, was maybe the best waiter I've ever encountered. He was so kind and attentive - the kind of service you expect at a much fancier place. Pizza was great and our group had a wonderful time. Great Chicago style pizza experience for veterans like me and many of the first-timers in our group. Thank you Pizzeria Uno!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Pizzeria Uno in downtown Chicago! We came as a party of two and tried the small BBQ Chicken deep-dish — and it was unforgettable. The crust was golden and slightly buttery, the cheese perfectly melted, and that smoky BBQ flavor hit just right in every bite. You can genuinely taste why this place is the birthplace of Chicago-style pizza. The staff was friendly, the service felt well-coordinated even during the evening rush, and the restaurant’s classic Chicago vibe made the whole meal feel authentic and special.
One pro tip: definitely preorder if you’re visiting during weekends or nights. The wait times can get long, and this pizza deserves to be enjoyed without the stress of waiting. Once seated, though, everything flows smoothly and is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike — this is Chicago deep dish done right!

Experience extremely mild. Service was unbelievable slow ordered one deep dish and it took over am hour but people who came before me got the same thing 30 min before. Which is bizarre. Waitresses were ok.barely check on you. Overall I really wouldn’t come here again. 1/10
