I only went here because all the other vegan spots in downtown Chicago were shut. After having had this food for the second time—the first was in DC— I think I want to say this is for rich people who aren't picky about their protein requirements. I got the fried rice and the watermelon sushi. Worth noting that adding any kind of protein is a surcharge. Neither itemswere impressive or layered or rich, taste wise. The only upsides of going to the place are the ambience...

I was visiting Chicago last week and we had lunch at this lovely restaurant . Service was excellent and so were the main course dishes . Only reason I am giving a 4 star is because the desert - Strawberries and cream was really below average . When I asked if the strawberries were fresh I was told both fresh and frozen . The desert must have had 6 small cut up strawberry pieces . I wish I had not ordered it .

Went by myself and got served at the bar. Great customer service at the bar. Tried the spicy tuna and UNAGI EGGPLANT. Both were amazing! I dropped by during happy hour and pricing was great especially in the downtown area. Will be going back again before leaving Chicago. The restaurant itself was beautiful and clean. Staff were great!
