Plush Pup - A Longtime Favorite with Disappointing Price HikesI have been a loyal customer of Plush Pup for many years, always appreciating its reliable and comforting offerings. Typically, I would stop in for a quick snack, often opting for the chicken in a pita with a drink. However, my recent visit left me in shock and disappointment due to the significant price increases.Walking in, I was hit with sticker shock: a basic sandwich and drink now start at a staggering $16.50 - $17.50. This is a dramatic jump from what I was accustomed to paying, and it was disheartening to see my beloved Plush Pup adopt such steep prices. The increase felt almost insulting, making it difficult to justify a meal there when comparable fast-food options are available for much less. The quality of the food at Plush Pup has always been good, but the new prices overshadow this fact. The balance between cost and value has tipped too far, making it hard to remain a faithful customer. I was so taken aback by the new pricing that I had to walk out without purchasing anything, a first in all my years of visiting.I sincerely hope that Plush Pup's management takes this feedback to heart and reevaluates their pricing strategy. While I understand that economic factors can lead to price adjustments, maintaining a loyal customer base should be a priority. Perhaps implementing a loyalty program, offering special promotions, or reconsidering the extent of the price hikes could help bridge the gap.In conclusion, while Plush Pup remains a place of fond memories and tasty meals, the current prices are alienating to long-time patrons. Unless changes are made, it will be difficult for many, including myself, to absorb the sticker shock and continue dining there regularly. I hope to see Plush Pup return to a more reasonable pricing structure that reflects the value and loyalty of its customers.

Beef sandwich was generous portion but quality of beef was like Arby’s or Papa Charlie frozen. Two bites no joke and stopped eating it. The ones who had Hot dogs said they were good. Hamburgers my kids said were meh. Not the wall quality you would expect or what they use to carry. Hot dogs are 4.99 no fries. Burgers are pre frozen Patty- $80 for frozen mediocre food. Not the Plush Pup quality it once was. Very disappointed not worth the cost for poor quality food. Sorry no more Plush Pup for the family sadly.

Ate there for the first time. Food is super expensive.I asked the lady on break to turn down the volume on her phone because I also had the TV blaring above me. She had her phone blasting a video which is so inconsiderate!! I ate inside to relax and she had to do that. The cook came out and started yelling at me for asking that. This place is so depressing to be in.Don’t go.

Thoroughly disappointed in this place. Somehow just spent 19 dollars on a cheeseburger, fries, and drink. The burger patty was thin. The fries came out of a box. Honestly, for that price, they should have said bye to me as I was leaving, especially since there was no one in there. I know exactly why there was no one in there. Was looking forward to trying this place for a while. I won’t be back. There needs to be some type of reward for paying that much. Usually the reward is the taste of the food. Couldn’t even get that. I was going to be lazy and go to McDonald’s. I should have done that.

This place is awesome! Always solid service and great options from Greek to Chicago fare. Highly recommend. Parking lot too which makes things helpful. Support a local small business vs Portillos!

Not sure why it has such low reviews. Ordered a polish a hot dog and large fries for $20. Polish was perfect and juicy... fries crispy. I get $20 is considered a lot of Chicago fare but they got to keep up with this economy... support a local place.

Waste of money, a lot of money!!! Stopped by to have a gyro plate and Philly steak, first of all the gyro plate had only 1 pita(which was hard as a rock) im no pita bread aficionado but I do know when I'm biting into something soft and fluffy vs something hard as a rock. Now, the philly steak which looks great on the picture was a measly 6 inches long, now I wouldn't mind if it wasn't $16 for it, basically works out to $2.60/ inch and trust me there's nothing in this place that's worth that, everything in this place is not worth the money, best thing we ordered was the 2 cups of water, that we got for free!!
