CONS: I wouldn't mind the steep cover charge if the drinks were better (mine were weak and spendy). So many plastic cups. The door price isn't advertised in event promos and it should be: it creates a bad vibe with patrons when expectations aren't clear. The dance area NEEDS better ventilation, as in oxygen: when it gets busy it's not necessarily hot, but the air gets hard to breathe.

We paid a $60 cover last night because we were told the party would go until 3 AM. Instead, the music stopped and the night ended by 1:30 AM. When we asked one of the staff members why they cut it short, they just said, “I lied, I’m sorry.” On top of that, the place was packed beyond capacity, making it hard to enjoy anything. I’ve had good times here before, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering coming back.

Paid $20 cover and had a great 20 minutes before going outside for a smoke. Bouncer refused to let my girlfriend and I back in citing that we were “too drunk”. I’m typing this immediately after and was not “drunk”. One of the worst night life experiences I’ve had in Chicago. Thanks for stealing our money.

I was there this weekend for a concert and the staff was so incredibly rude to me and my friends. Despite being on the list of people who didn’t have to pay, they forced us to pay.
We paid because we wanted to support Lil Louis who we have been following since the 80s and didn't want to start an issue. But I would never return to this venue. And neither would my friends who were with me.
It’s a shame how a venue could ruin an awesome concert!
The event staff is repulsive. Sophia is the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with in more than 30 years of event planning. The bartenders are nice but the event staff tried squeezing us for money following our successful event insisting on changing the terms of our agreement. Love the bartenders but would never do an event there.

You literally can't get in unless you carry cash with you. For those that travel light, you must bring a debit card or sufficient cash, or I suppose know the bouncer or something. You can not use any other form of payment to get in, though theyll let you put your card down for drinks.I won't comment on the rest of it though it seemed empty and no one was dancing.
