This place still continues to be good. However, as prices to up, I don't think it's suitable anymore for me to continue spending money in this location.
I have been going to this place since I was in highschool. They have good food and have made noticable renovations through the years.

Ate here for the first time before taking the train home.

The food was everything I had hoped for, and you can customize pretty much everything about the bowl you order, down to how spicy you want it to be in general, which I'd never experienced before. The building itself is fairly cramped and has limited seating, but I suppose that's to be expected when you're downtown.

I'll definitely come back the next time I visit Chicago!

Five bowls of ramen from the heavens. My kids (14, 12 and 10) enjoyed every bite. My husband got a Medium heat and say he was happy to not have ordered a Spicy, and he usually handles heat well. We ordered the gyoza to begin and they were also delicious. Quick service, good prices. best meal we had in Chicago this weekend :) great service too!

My husband and I were in the area to go to the Art Institute and came here when we got off the Monroe station. It was absolutely amazing! We got the braised beef and the brisket soup and both were so delicious. It’s cute and the staff are very nice and helpful! They also had calpico drinks which was a nice surprise. 10000/10 will absolutely come back again! :)

The food was great with a reasonable portion size. The Osaka bowl I had was packed with tuna, salmon, and shrimp—more than it might look in the photo.

I literally come to this place every week, and the service is always consistent. I appreciate their love for students and how understanding they are of our time. They always serve me very quickly, and the fish is always fresh. They have a large variety of toppings to choose from. they minimal seating but it is so understandable when the park and other places are near as well. they have free water and are the friendliest people.
