This place is a neighborhood staple and it is still serving up fast food the way it should be - fast. The service is polite and professional and everyone who works there is efficient. I personally love shoestring fries (just like McDonald's) but these are less salty and less greasy-win/win! I've also had their chicken bread sandwich which is delicious and huge - I personally ate half for lunch and saved the rest for dinner. Easy parking right behind the restaurant is also a big plus.

Ive been coming here for years and it's been a staple in the McKinley park area for me. The service is always great and very friendly, and above all the food is always consistent. Prices have obviously gone up over time but the food remains the same, and the portion sizes are still great :) As far as a fast food place goes, Nicky's is always a solid option if you're in the area!

Definitely the best! I have been going there for years,I really love that chili although they have other things that would make you want to come back for more or try something else....

This place rocks! The BEST gyros...huge portion, so cheap, so fresh. Great place!!! So grateful they're still here a lot of my other favorite places have doubled the prices and give you half the meat which ruins the proportions. Long live Nicky's Carry Out!!!

Great food, great prices, huge portions, crazy fast, friendly. There was so much meat on the gyro I had to eat half of it with a fork before I could pick it up.

One of my favorite places. Love the food, love the employees and most of all love me some Tom. Such a sweet, sweet man in his own sarcastic way!!! Hes so charming and funny. ❤️

Overall the food was just ok, the gyro meat is only cooked in the spit. The fries could use some salt, and if you ask for extra sauce, they charge you for the extra condiments. Not bad if you are in a hurry and want to try something not so expensive and fast. The gyro was overpowering with to many raw onions, and the tomatoes were a bit mushy.

So ... I realized when i got home that the gyros sandwich would almost be cold. They don't grill it like most places do. The little flame on the spit only heats up the first layer of the meat. Uhh!

I needed a quick bite to eat after being gone all day. I got the Gyro meal. I didn't have cash, so I used my card. I hate how businesses don't let you know they charge an extra fee to use debit/credit cards. It was only extra $0.30 but that's besides the point, a small sign that said they charge a fee would've been helpful. I got my food fast, but the meat was a bit burnt and did not taste fresh. However, it wasn't terrible. It's alright if you need something quick in the area but for the same $9-$12 you're going to spend there are better Gyros spots in Chicago.

Cheap fast food. Large portions. Because of this, the quality is a lot lower. But if you want your fixing of Chicago favorites without spending too much, this is your joint.

This spot is conveniently located at the corner of 35th and western. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it is all good. I prefer the fried chicken wings and chicken sandwich on pita bread. The service is good and they move as fast as the food cooks.
