Every time I go, it says it's open, but it's NOT! Can someone confirm if the business is still even operating?!?

Polk Street Pub is a solid neighborhood spot—nothing fancy, just good vibes, cold beer, and solid bar food. I stopped in for a burger and fries ($15) and washed it down with a local IPA ($7). The burger was juicy, cooked just right, and came with a pile of crispy fries. TVs everywhere, so it’s a great place to catch a game, and they even had live music going when I was there. Spent about $25 total, and it was well worth it. If you’re in the area and want a laid-back, no-frills bar, this is the spot!

Polk Street Pub is the ultimate dive bar for anyone looking to kick back with some good food and drinks. I popped in last weekend, grabbed a burger and fries, and it hit the spot. The burger was juicy and cooked just right, and the fries were crispy – simple, but tasty. They’ve got a solid selection of beers on tap, so I grabbed a pint of local brew to wash it all down. The vibe is super laid-back, with live music and sports on the TVs – perfect for a chill hangout. I spent about $20 for the meal and a drink, and for the price, it was totally worth it. Will definitely be back for more!

This place caters to the "gentleman's club" next door. They want you to buy a bottle and go next door to the strip club so the drinks are mega expensive and they can't make much of anything...not even a dirty martini...super basic. Soooo, I wouldn't recommend stopping there randomly.

Parking: Street and paid parking available.

It wasn't particularly busy when I arrived but the bar lady was excellent with great service. They didn't serve food here which was disappointing but not a game changer.

I really liked this place ㅠㅠㅠㅜㅜ Why is it closing ㅠㅠㅠㅜI ate meatloaf and mashed potatoes here while waiting for the Megabus on a winter night. The portions were plentiful and delicious, and the staff were friendly! The atmosphere was really fun because we were dancing and singing, but it's really sad that it's closed... I really wanted to go back when I go to Chicago.

Very nice server. Good burgers, fries, and slaw. A half block from the Megabus stop on Polk. UPDATE. Reviewers on Yelp report this is closed.

I've been visiting this pub since freshman year in college. The beer and liquor selection is great. Bartenders are always friendly and the food is above average for bar food.It is located in the industrial area of the south/west loop. Its a dive bar with a lot of blue collar regulars and great for watching any Chicago sports.

Great little place on the edge of the west loop. Food was really good. Someplace to go and watch the game without all the trendy crap on Randolph and Madison.

This is definitely a must for anyone in Chicago that hasn't made the journey over to Polk Street. Great atmosphere, food, and staff. Large portions and everything was delicious. Thanks guys!

We were there last year in July (2016). Inconspicuous from the outside but great inside. Ate our first burger in the USA.

Best ribs and wings in Chicago. We have made this a must go place when we are in Chicago.
