Famous Fresh Mexican Food is a gem 🌮✨ — the kind of place that reminds you how good simple and fresh can be.
Every bite tastes clean and homemade — flavorful without being greasy, and you can tell they actually care about the ingredients. The vibe matches the food: super friendly, family-run energy that makes you feel like a regular after one visit.
Uniquely fresh, consistently delicious, and just the right mix of casual and special. An easy favorite for anyone craving real Mexican flavor done right.

Whole chicken plus half chicken special goes crazy
So I went in for the Monday special where any order of a whole chicken gets you an additional half. I think there was some miscommunication on my order as I only really wanted to the chicken and not the combo, but it wasn't a big deal.
I could not BELIEVE how much food I got, this could feed a family of 5-6 easily. The chicken was incredible and the sides of rice and beans were on point. And a stack, thats right a stack of tortillas I didn't even realize would be included and the sheer amount of chicken was insane. While I did not want the combo I am not going to complain about it now.
Please support this spot, its incredible!

Ordered a chicken bowl.
Portion size was huge.
They also gave free chips n salsa.
Flavors were a bit basic, but ingredients were fresh.

Absolutely elite level takeout / quick serve. Huge portions, great sides, super friendly, not sure how one could eat here and leave disappointed.

This chicken was dry and tastes like it was from the other day and on top of that it had too much coloring as seasoning, not healthy at all.
My husband and I came here for lunch. The food was good and portions were generous. Wait time was not long and the staff were friendly. Would recommend.
The chicken bowl is incredibly good. It features lots of vegetables rice, and their amazing chicken. They don’t skimp on things like avocado, either. The portion size is huge, too, and sometimes makes two meals.
Overall, this is my favorite quick service restaurant in the area.

It's like going to your local Mexican cookout, so good, crazy good price, really fast. Go on Mondays/Wednesdays for the free half chicken deal and you'll have enough food to feed a family of 4 two separate meals

Don’t sleep on the Monday and Wednesday meal deal! $30 for a whole and half chicken, tortillas, salsas, and two sides which for us was refried beans and Mexican rice. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Very happy to have this in the neighborhood to keep us fed on some busy weeknights!

Loved it. Adobo chicken was great, so was the natural. Got charros and rice and tortillas with the meal and the pickled onions were my favorite. Great bbq chicken for family dinner. Will be back.

I'm so happy they ordered this location. I went to the one in Bridgeport all the time when I worked out there, I have to fight the urge to eat here every single week.
