Great laid back atmosphere. Food wasawesome. Our server, Martin, was delightful, kind and attentive. Gorgonzola gnocchi was heaven and the mini crème brûlée was everything it’s cracked up to be! Will be back!

Visited for dinner last Friday with a large group. First time. The restaurant space has a warm feel with lots of Chicago ambiance (photos, vintage pieces). The menu is varied and the meals provide good portions and great taste. I had the sea bass special with grilled vegetables and rice with beans, my husband had the fish and chips. Both were tasty and well presented. Service was excellent (friendly and attentive), especially given the size of our group. Parking lot is adjacent. Owner/chef is delightful! Highly recommend.

I was there for their annual Christmas brunch. The food was great. They have enough variety for anyone's taste. Plus they had live music.

The Polo Inn is a great local place to relax and have a delicious meal. We always get the salmon dinner because it is so excellent. It is always very moist and delicious! The soups are outstanding, too. And service is always top notch here. Definitely recommend it! The decor and architectural details of this restaurant makes you feel like you have taken a step back in time to old Chicago with the charm of days gone by. Last time we were here on a Friday night we were treated to a violin concert by a fellow diner, and even the owner started singing Christmas carols!

A nice hidden gem in Bridgeport! The service was great. Staff were genuine and attentive to our needs. The food was satisfying and good quality. Their creme brûlée was to die for! I can see why it’s award winning! Will return! The owner was such a kind soul. He makes the polo inn:)

We hadn't been to the Polo cafe in probably 20 years, having been not so impressed on a couple visits back then. However we stopped in for lunch recently and are very pleased to report that they are indeed a bona fide "real" restaurant! We had two beautiful soups of the day, cream of spinach and cream of corn, both worthy of accolades. Then the meatloaf with mash potatoes and gravy, a welcome comfort food, and the crab nuggets, with a tangy sauce. The Caesar salad was fresh and crunchy and the crème brûlée was a small but welcome finish! Though their hours are weird (they close at 6 pm when most people are just beginning to think about dinner!)and they no longer do drinks, their 5$ byob policy seems acceptable. We'll be back in some shape or form to sample more of their offerings! Our server was great! We'll add our photos when we can -

We had a wonderful lunch here. I had the couscous with the salmon, my friend had a ham sandwich with tater tots, and my mom had the penne with chicken. We all loved our food and the service.
