Ordered for pickup the fettuccine Alfredo pasta with broccoli and chicken. I’m very picky about my pasta and this pasta really made my day better. It tasted so fresh, delicious, hot, and it didn’t upset my stomach so I was able to eat a lot of it. Usually with pasta like from Olive Garden, their stuff upsets my stomach and I instantly want to nap. But this was more than likely made with fresh ingredients and no preservatives. I give it a 5/5! The only weird thing was the cashier by the pick up area was slow paced and didn’t acknowledge me but she did acknowledge some customer that entered the restaurant much after me. Maybe they’re understaffed idk.

Great place to grab a bite. The food is very good. You walk in and order what you want. They finish it in the oven and deliver it to your table. Everything looked good and the smell was great, exactly like homemade Italian cooking. The place is setup to handle walking traffic. With all of the construction currently happening, street parking can be difficult to find - make sure to watch out for the sections of street that requires a special permit.
Parking: They have a small parking lot, but it fills fast.
Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly, very family friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a door and entrance is street level.

The chocolate cannoli is to die for!
I still don’t understand why they filled my plate with buffalo sauce and a huge cup of sauce on the side for only 6 wings.. small wings, wouldn’t buy them again.

The food is great and reasonably priced, especially when you consider the portions. I’ve been coming here for years, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. This is a great place to take a larger group of people, especially if you want to split the check.

They have free parking, accessible entrance and bathrooms with bars for my mom who uses a wheelchair. The food is reasonably priced and sooooo tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back with my family! Spent $20-30 per person including dessert and appetizer.

You want a great casual Italian experience that has amazing food. Stop here.
Also if you want to be ruined for bread pudding the rest of your life...
Seriously, they said it was good, but I was not ready. It is so good that bread pudding anywhere else will taste like sawdust.

Pompei is consistently good. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Good pizza slices and strudel. Marie’s special salad is a must. Chopped romaine with blue cheese, onion, crispy prosciutto n Marie’s special dressing. Give it a try.

Used to stop for early morning for donuts way back in the day. And pizza slices for lunch or dinner. Zucchini was my favorite when I was in school at UIC and living in the neighborhood.

The baked clams were very bland. The eggplant parm wasn’t very tasty. The eggplant was too thin and the sauce was very acidic.
