The brunch was delicious with plenty of choices, from eggs and bacon to fresh salads and sandwiches. Everything came out hot and well-prepared, and the portions were just right. The coffee was fresh and the staff made sure drinks were always topped up. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a late morning meal with friends.

Pompette feels unhurried and comfortingly refined. The muted color palette and soft textures give it a calm, polished feel. Light jazz hums softly in the background, blending into chatter that never overwhelms. It is perfect for catching up with a friend or escaping for a slow coffee.
The lavender-infused cappuccino was soothing and layered, with floral notes that lifted each sip into something memorable. Their lemon almond tart cut through the sweetness with bright zest and a tender crumb. Friendly staff moved with ease, serving with care and warmth. Pompette does not shout, it gently invites and lingers with you long after you have stepped out.

Pompette is absolutely wonderful. 10/10 across the board. They are what every local restaurant should strive to be - incredible food, great service, cozy and friendly atmosphere. But most importantly, it’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Their dishes and cocktails gradually change seasonally, so there’s always something new to try. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. You see them chatting with newcomers and regulars alike. It feels like a truly local spot in the city. Simply put, it’s the best restaurant in the neighborhood - just try it already.

Expensive and smaller portions, but oh so good. Sticky bun was amazing. Everything tasted excellent. Cocktails were very good as well. Definitely recommend.

What a luxury that pompete is now open Monday for dinner. And the new menu rocks! I devoured the stuffed squash blossoms, sweetbreads and crab spaghetti.

One of my favorite spots in Bucktown! Great happy hour deals, excellent cocktails, and a menu that regularly changes but is always amazing. Service is friendly and prompt. Food is so so delicious. We love Pompette!!
