Always top end experience - so many tasty dishes, creative cocktails and splendid service.
Amazing food with so many different flavors. Every dish is a masterpiece! Also a huge selection of wine. Staff is very try nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!
The food was creative and delicious! I went with a friend who has an uncommon allergy and the staff made sure to accommodate all needs. A very pleasant experience!
We LOVED the food and the service! We ordered from the Restaurant Week pre fix menu; what an absolute treat! Our lovely server, Blake, helped us choose wine and we can't wait to come back. It was our first visit and the food was excellent! Literally everything we tried, we loved.
Incredible place. Cozy and fun restaurant for date night or girls night. Will definitely be back.
Food and service were great! However, the music selection was odd compared to the atmosphere and cuisine. In my opinion, the 2010 chart topping hits weren't the best for setting the vibe for brunch on Sunday morning with the age range of the clientele who were dinning. Otherwise, it was great!
Wonderful Chicago Restaurant Week menu with excellent service. Lovely place to cozy up for a delightful dinner on a snowy Chicago night.
Arrived at 9:52AM for 10:00AM reservation on 1/24 when the temp was below zero, trying to support small businesses during restaurant week. Vestibule door locked. Staff looking at us through the window. We knocked. They ignored us. We knocked again. Same thing. Wouldn't a restaurant expecting 10:00AM reservations have, at a minimum, the vestibule door open? Staff was incredibly rude when they finally did let us in and said, “you don't need to show up right at 10am just because you have a reservation...” WHAT!? Made the decision to dine elsewhere and left. They should rename themselves to Pompous.
Hostess and service was excellent. A+ on that. I had the classic breakfast and wasn't a big fan of the cheesy eggs. The menu also doesn't mention gluten-free options, so I had to ask. Restaurant has nice decor and ambiance but when the restaurant is over half full, it's difficult to hear the person on the other side of the table.
One of my favorite solo dining experiences so far. The staff was very friendly and gave me lots of recommendations of things in the neighborhood since i'm new to Chicago. I had the olives, gnocchi and s'mores dessert along with 2 glasses of syrah

Pompette is a perfect neighborhood spot! Busy enough on any given night, that it feels like the place to be, but not so busy that you have to book a table months in advance. And of course, excellent food and drinks! I love to come here with friends, or by myself at the bar. Seasonal favorites include the beet martini, and the lamb couscous.
Pompette is a gem and one of our Bucktown go-to's. In fact, we went twice in two days this weekend. Everything about Pompette is exceptional, from the warm and welcoming staff to the creative and delicous menu to the fun and chill vibe.
Had a fantastic time and delicious meal at Pompette on NYE. The gnocchi and crab cakes were my favorite, absolute must tries!
Everything was delicious! Server Rebecca was great and food came out very fresh & hot. Thank you for a nice 1st time experience.
