These really are crack cakes - so delicious! I had the caramel cake upon the owner’s recommendation and it was fantastic. I’ll definitely be returning.

Pookie Crack Cakes is always phenomenal!!! Prices are very reasonable!! I can't imagine they will stay that way for long! Worth every penny!! I've had the lemon cake, the peach cobbler cake, and the butter pecan praline!!! The lemon and peach cobbler were good but the BPP is the one!!!! There's just something about that BPP that makes my soul sing!! Every bite makes you close your eyes to just enjoy and savor the flavor!! The owners are so nice!! Please make the trip! Its sooooo worth it and you'll be glad you did!!!

The place is small but their system of moving things along is great. Friendly service, and the cakes makes you forget about the wait. They are hard to beat.

Cakes were moist and delicious. My top favs would be the keylime and the pecan praline. Friendly atmosphere and customer service was great. If you go on the weekend just know they sell out fast. Definitely worth the trip and the hype!!!

I had the pleasure of going to Pookie's Crack Cakes in July while I was home visiting family. The two brothers that work there are delightful. I initially bought an Oreo cake that was delicious! My cousin bought the peach cobbler cake and when I tasted it I knew that I had to come back and get one before I left Chicago. I also tried the lemon cake which was amazing and I'm not even a big fan of lemon cake. I left Chicago with 5 cakes that I bought for myself and friends. They use all natural ingredients which makes their cakes taste amazing! I've never had cakes as good as theirs. They also sell fruit drinks made with all natural ingredients and sweetened with monk fruit. l bought one of each flavor both times that I was there. Pookie's will be a permanent part of my annual trip home to Chicago.

I don't remember the last time I was treated with such kind, welcoming energy from a business. Their product is delicious and fully lived up to the hype.
