Didn't care for the pineapple cake. It was moist, but I didn't like it. Was kind of doughy. But that's my opinion. Did not taste homemade. Maybe, the other flavors taste better.
Just made to Chicago from Champaign. After all the review on social media my husband and I had to stop in Pookies Crack Cakes and whew, they did not disappoint. I couldn’t even wait to get to my destination… demolished half of one in the car. No shame. These cakes are beyond delicious, moist, flavorful and totally live up to the hype. Also the guy in the store (assuming he was the owner) was super nice and friendly, made the experience even better!
I finally made it to Pookie Crack Cakes before they sold out and they didn't disappoint. They're so moist and taste absolutely delicious. I had the peach cobbler and butter pecan praline. Everyone was so nice and helpful, making my visit a really positive experience. I'll definitely be going back for more.
