The food is always freshly made and delicious, but this does make the wait in the drive-thru longer than a typical fast food restaurant.

This location is the slowest ever. You need to take lunch to order lunch. I'm not sure if all of Chicago does this but they charge a "garbage tax" on top of the regular tax.

It me close to an hour to get my mom’s food. The guy in Gus who took the order wasn’t even going to bring it out, I had to go in to get it and instead of mash potatoes like I ordered. They put fries inside

Had no chicken sandwiches. Asked for a Dr. Pepper which is clearly marked on drive thru board and they say they don't sell it and was out of ice. Like they literally couldn't make anything my son wanted besides the fries and those were cold by the time I got home within 3 minutes

This place is always crowded, the staff has no clue what they're doing and are as rude as can be, I ordered the honey BBQ wings, the wings were barely coated, they were mostly dry. I've been coming here for years, but this was definitely my last time.

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! Waited about 30 minutes for our food (4pc combo, 12 wing combo and nugget combo), Only to be told that the nuggets were not done even though 6 people behind me left with nuggets and wings. Once the nuggets finally came out, they told me the wings were not done because they didn’t want it to be cold so now I have to start waiting for the wings. I told them how stupid of an excuse that was because the 4 pc combo I ordered was sitting there and cold along with the mash potatoes. They told me it would take 6 minutes but the guy in the back spoke Spanish and said it would take over 10 minutes. I told them I understood and why would they lie to me. They kept telling me I was wrong but I told them I clearly know Spanish, so I told them I do not want the wings and to trade it for a 4 piece so I can leave. Once I got home I realized that they did not give me my 3 drinks and my sides.

They need to have people who response to online orders. I'm waiting longer than 20 min for a grub hub order. These order should be done when they arrive. Lost out on money from a grub hub order because it was not ready. It's a waste of time waiting longer than 10 min for an order.

The service is getting slower and slower every time I come here, the wait time is still the same whether I place an online order or order inside or go through drive-thru

I was stunned that I waited 15 minutes for an order that was already supposed 2be finished up & 2 top it all off, can you believe that they had about 7 workers behind that tiny counter! This Popeyes is extremely small & not a conducive environment for someone with claustrophobia or just plain old anxiety issues!I think the food was kept fresh and the staff were doing a great job at preparing the fried chicken and other fried foods, however, it would be much better if they had a skilled manager and a team working together in synchrony, harmony, & mutual respect!I do advise this Popeye's to make an upgrade on the managerial staff or to start training them much better!Vegetarian options: Sure there are some vegetarian options, such as French fries, biscuits, and desserts! Not a menu here that would supply to a vegetarian person...! Rice and beans could also be other options such as, mashed potatoes, green beans, rice & beans, cole slaw...etc. I did notice that Popeye's has a new addition to the menu that's vegetarian, strawberry ? flavored biscuits!!! Ohhhh, I sure bet they would be just delicious with dinner extra butter, strawberry jam, and even those awesome Kosher Jelly/Raspberry jam that is amazing!Dietary restrictions: There aren't that many things on the menu here that are low fat however you can watch calories by patting off grease and by making sure that you choose healthier much healthier items such as green beans, non fried foods, chicken that is not fried, and just making a meal work to whatever dietary restrictions that you are on! Now if you need to gain weight you certainly would have an opportunity to eat lots of fat and calories with fried chicken especially with the skin on!Parking: There are not that many spots to the right of Popeyes to park! There may be about 10 slots for cars to park and it is a tight squeeze!Kid-friendliness: I did not find this Popeyes to be kid-friendly at all and I would never want to have my child or a family member or a friend or anyone else's child for that matter have a birthday party or go here there's barely any room in that place and it would just be claustrophobic and it just doesn't seem like it would be fun at all! I would say get in and get out with the kids and get home and have a great safe meal with the children at home and definitely choose a better place for a birthday party!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there could be a wheelchair accessible entrance, however, it is a tight squeeze and I wouldn't recommend it! The wheelchair could run the chance on getting stuck, depending on what type of wheelchair that it is...!!! A little rascal is not going to be fitting through that door very easily!
