Pops never let's me down. They are consistent. Good quantity and quantity. I'm a borderline French fry addict and they rank pretty high on my top 10 list. Double grilled chicken, hot pepper mix,bag of salty smoking hot fries, I'm done

It's definitely not the same quality food. I loved their burgers. I recently ordered a double cheeseburger. Only to find out it's not fresh meat, more like rubber pre-cooked burgers. Fries are top tier. The service, however, is delightful. I will explore more food items. I am hopefully going to have better luck.

I asked for the beef "dipped", I got it dry!
It could not have been worse! That bad, and the girl wrote it down and repeated it back to me. I thought the bag was light because of the special. I usually go to Palos where they get it right.

Got a combo Saturday sweet peppers actually had three pieces of beef on it effing terrible ?

I grew up with pops, decades ago you'd fight to get an @$$ on a seat to enjoy your beef because it's always busy in a great way. Everyone knows someone who worked at or lived on pops for years. Everything is good. I have never had something from pops and thought hmm I could do better. They just nail it. Fave order is a dipped beef and pizza puff, or ! A cpl Chicago dogs and must have fries. Get a milkshake while ur at it, if you're goin to church ya may as well sing. That's another thing, pops serves everyone from the double shift blue collar to the jag with the jag, everyone loves pops. It's the quintessential Midwest American must have mom and pop, pun intended, style meal. You'll come to know the staff and appreciate a crazy night and how those masters handle it. The Kedzie location is the motherland but alot of the off shoots are really good too. The gas station a few doors down couldn't keep the lights on every other year but pops has a line out the door in the summer for a reason. Best of luck pops I wish you well for decades to come, you're now serving a generation below me :) and it's a privilege.
