Extremely Disappointed with Potbelly Catering Kitchen
As an office manager who regularly orders catering for our C-suite team, I expected professionalism and reliability. I placed an order with confirmed delivery at 12:49 PM. I missed a call at 11:41 AM (no voicemail left), and when I returned the call at 12:30 PM, I was told—without apology—that my order was being pushed to 1:15 PM. When I said that wouldn’t work, the manager casually offered a refund and hung up.
I called back to explore alternatives, but was met with dismissiveness and poor customer service. I was told the refund would be delayed, and when I asked to transfer the order, I was told to just come pick it up—despite having paid for delivery and tip. The associate became argumentative when I asked for a regional contact.
I ended up going to another Potbelly (Store #303), where the team kindly helped me with a last-minute order—but I had to pay again out of pocket. I still haven’t received a refund for the original order.
I’ve spent over $2,000 with Potbelly this year alone, but after today’s experience, I’m seriously reconsidering future business. Unacceptable service and zero accountability.

Sandwich taste was good. The staff gave good service. I was really satisfied. I suggest others to visit here.
Nothing here states this is a catering location only. The public has no access.

Great Customer Service
Ok so as a prior employee of Potbelly Sandwich Shop I am just going to get some thing off of my chest. Your store in downtown Seattle on 4th has not fixed its ac fo over a year. With the temperature rising and even through all of covid, you demanded employees worked. Once employees were outspoken you stated that the store would be shut down to FINALLY repair the ac. And then we would have to make up our hours at 6th and lenora. Where they LITERALLY had an employee pop positiv
I can't believe this branch doesn't have flat white bread. They won't carry it at this branch. They only seem to have multi-grain flat bread. What the hell kinda Pot Belly is this? I've never been to a branch that don't have flat white bread. The branch in River North has flat white bread, the branch in Hyde Park has flat white bread. Bottom line, they should be carrying flat white bread too.

I've been in there a total of five times around the same time. The cashier move like the sloth flash off of zootopia. I asked for one sandwich and received another. Then when I spoke on it the manager came out and told me they were out of meat for my particular sandwich. The cashier had 7 ppl in line and it took her 5 mins to make customers smoothie and when I asked if someone could help her they told me she was the only one who could use the register. I had to request a table be cleaned do I could sit down no one ever came. The need all new staff

Good food with a very polite and professional Staff!!
While the sandwiches and shakes are good, when I visited on June 3, 2017, there were no available accessible doors. Only the revolving door was open. The staff were either unable or unwilling to unlock the accessible door or even prop it open until a better fix could be found. This is illegal under the ADA.
There was no wait when my friend and I popped in here to grab lunch around 11am on a Monday. I ordered the Italian hoagie and customized it to my preferences. My friend got the cheddar and broccoli soup. The sandwich was delicious! The Italian meats were fresh and spicy and the bread was warm and crunchy. My friend said the soup was good as well. Service was wonderful and the restaurant was clean. Great spot for a quick lunch while sight seeing! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Chicago or wherever else I encounter a Potbelly's.
We liked the sandwiches. Was spooked about two things, No Ketchup? (seriously?) and no Coffee...First time ever in a coffee shop I see no ketchup and no coffee. The staff was great, location was nice, price was not awkward.
