Got a $7 chili bowl with onion and this 3/4 full container with no onion is what I received. Absolute rip off. I havent been in a decade so maybe this is the new norm but Ill save my money next time.

Showed up a little early so I sat down and waited 10 minutes for my pickup order, only to find out my food had been sitting on the counter for 5 minutes already while I just sat there and they never said anything to me

Potbelly’s on Andersonville is one of the best locations, as a security guard I wasn’t able to pickup my order, but thanks to the great costumer service they were able to get it to me here at U.S Bank. Thanks team

This experience was extremely disappointing and left me feeling like this location is trying to cut corners at customers’ expense.
We ordered three sandwiches: two Bigs and one Original but were given the wrong sizes: two Originals and one Big. There was only one staff member working at first, and even though the place was nearly empty, he still managed to mess up our order, even though we placed each sandwich order one at a time.
The biggest issue was the bacon. We ordered all three sandwiches with bacon, but no one told us they were out of full strips until after the sandwiches started coming through the machine, i only noticed so i could tell her which was mine at which point they looked weird and i spotted what looked like crumbs. When I asked my sisters what it was, one of the other workers (who had shown up by then) overheard and said, “It’s bacon bits , but it’s still real bacon.” That rubbed me the wrong way not just because we didn’t get what we paid for, but because she said it as if i was slow and that was normal for potbelly sandwiches. Everyone knows bacon is an expensive add-on (over $3.5 depending on sandwich size), and it felt scammy to serve scraps and act like that’s acceptable. there wasn’t enough bacons scraps to be even considered 1 slice of bacons on both sandwiches.
We sent one sandwich back because it had literally nothing on it but a couple bacon crumbs and she had asked for a bunch of other toppings . When we asked if we’d still be charged for bacon on those sandwiches, the employee said they’d take it off for the ones with crumbs but that the remade sandwich would have real bacon. Which had me thinking “why didn’t all of them have real bacon to begin with?” and why wouldn’t u just take ours and go remake them. Unless they were deliberately trying to save on ingredients while charging full price. sadly we were in a rush and all hadn’t eaten all day so as long as we didn’t have to pay for the bacon droplets l let it go. but like in what world is this acceptable or does it make sense ??
To top it off, they also forgot my cup of mac and cheese entirely.
Overall, I left irritated and disappointed and the sandwich wasn’t good. the bacon tasted like it belonged on a baked potato and had a nasty aftertaste. they are so weird for that. The mistakes, the lack of communication, and the attitude made it feel like they were more focused on cutting corners than serving customers properly and giving us what we actually pay for. bad location just go to the one on sheridan and make sure you watch ur sandwich as it goes through so you can make sure they didn’t give u bacon droplets and turkey scraps.

Shoutout to Maleeyah & the other young lady on shift (who didn’t have a name tag) at Potbelly—they were absolutely amazing!
M made my sandwich perfectly (which never happens), and her personality was just as great. Funny, cool, and super friendly—she made the whole experience awesome. I seriously love this Potbelly thanks to team members like them.

took advantage of an elderly person who didn’t speak fluent english. gave her the wrong change back after she handed them a $20 bill and they kept the $20 refusing to give her the change back. all she ordered was a sandwich and there is no sandwich on the menu that cost $20. they pocketed the money and pretended to “check” the register and told her there was no change to give back. honestly disgusting how people take advantage of older people with a language barrier to make a quick buck. that bill was the only money she was carrying and they robbed her of basically all her money. crazy how they let these type of disgusting people work there and who knows how many others they’ve done it to. if ur broke just say that honestly.
we did email and haven’t heard back yet from anyone so honestly overall disappointed and angered at the situation.

Ordered new Cubano sandwich in original size with Swiss as described on menu. Received skinny size with no cheese, a sliver of ham and burned wet bits that may have been the pork but the drowning of the sandwich in copious amounts of mustard made it difficult to tell. Sarcastic levels of mustard. Ate a third and threw the rest away. Under normal circumstances I would have spoken to the manager however after being snapped at during the check out process I decided to address my issues here. Other customers had issues as well I.e cheese added to items in error, wrong size, etc. During prior visits to this location I’ve had similar experiences and some good ones to be fair. I’ll never visit this location again and it will be a long time before I do so again.
Update: As requested, I sent Potbelly Corp an email with additional details on Monday Nov 18th and have not, as of yet, received any reply. Way to run a client service team folks. BTW I wasn’t “disappointed”. “Angry” over wasted food, time and money dealing with a restaurant that clearly has management issues & a work staff that hit me as stoned would be more accurate

The sandwiches are okay. But the customer service is terrible. Good luck calling over there, 9 times out of 10 no one’s even gonna answer the phone. Seems pretty simple to me but I called 3 times tonight and the phone just rings and rings. Then I go over and they’re not even busy. There were 4 employees and 1 customer. But, answering the phone proved too difficult. I’ll stick with the one on Lincoln.
Edit: a very nice general manager of the store reached out to me very quickly, and explained they were having an issue with their phones. I very much appreciated this (I wish more places did likewise), so I have adjusted the review. Thanks guys!

i came here to get a sandwich today while my grandmother waited outside, and i overheard one of the workers use strong language regarding her as he told another worker to kick her out from an outside table. i understand it’s company policy to reserve the outside tables for paying guests (which i was) but the language was unnecessary and unprofessional.
I just went there this evening and was given a sandwich with moldy bread. That sucked.

I appreciate the quickness of my delivery they also listened to my instructions. I only like the chicken salad with cranberries and unfortunately this isnt option on the app. So i added it in the notes and they gave me cranberries. Little things like this make me happy so thats why im writing this review

I've been to many potbelly locations. The guy who took my order at this location shouldn't be in front of customers. Rude, degrading, and unpleasant. The sandwich was great but I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.
