I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy their food, but my daughter picks up the orders to deliver, which is how I realized the demand for food, so I have to pay a visit 😋

I'm not Mexican but it felt authentic. I went here at the encouragement of a coworker when I had small cold, and I don't regret it at all. It was so good, the chips were stale though.

No complaints at all about this place. Servers are very knowledgeable and friendly. All menu items are delicious, every time we come food flavor has been very consistent. Definitely recommended 👌

Hello there! Im going to tell you the story of my experience at Pozoleria el Mexicano.

Let’s talk about the food. The sopes were amazing! It also comes with pumpkin or sunflower seeds. I can’t remember which one. The fries were also good. Tasted like any other fry you would have.

The service was good. There were checking on us. They brought the stuff on time. Also they didn’t mess any of our orders up.

The atmosphere. They had good music and that’s it. Nothing special, but nothing bad. The place looked clean and tidy. But nothing special.

Overall five stars. Great food. Awesome Service. Normal but clean atmosphere! Thank you!

Okay the horchata.....I would end up rolling around Chicago if I lived next to this place it's so good I'd get it every day!!!

The tacos and chicken dishes were so good too! The seasoning/sauces were perfect. The atmosphere is really authentic too. It really feels like a Mexican restaurant rather then an American styled Mexican place.
The staff was so nice, I don't speak any Spanish so they were really accommodating to help me order.
I actually got to meet the owner but he was so nice and funny.
Definitely going back there again to try the other dishes!

I’ve gone twice In a week it was so good!
Reasonable prices, and some portions are pretty big! It’s BYOB, but they can bring you a prepared glass for a michelada. I got a virgin piña colada and it was delish.
Churros were nice and warm with a strawberry and chocolate syrup, and they threw in a flan.
Sopes were delish, topped with cheese, avocado, lettuce. Tried the pink taco because it’s a hand made tortilla, again it was a big portion for 3-4 dollars (I’ve paid more ).
The horchata was in a big glass.
I will be back to have some pozole myself.
