I cannot rave bout this place more! Once getting into Chicago I was craving Italian food, but not the traditional red sauce and noodles! I found this place on a whim and I was blown away by the menu. I sat at the bar and received the best service this evening.
Don’t hesitate to stop here. You will not be disappointed.

Very fine dining place. Food was incredible and service was great. The spot had a great atmosphere as well. It has a very homey feel, and you can see the kitchen in the back. Spaghetti Bolognese was absolutely fire

I live in the area, and my husband and I enjoy dinner here about once a month or more.
Three things I look for in a neighborhood spot: close and walkable, price point, and consistency. This place checks all of the boxes! You can truly taste the care and love that goes into the food. I’m addicted to the spaghetti bolognese, it brings a sense of nostalgia to me, but also loved the lemon ravioli and the four cheese gnocchi when that was on the menu.
I’ve dined here different days of the week; the service is always attentive, and we recognize all of the servers. It’s great to see the chef interacting with the waiters, bussers, and customers. If I can ever tear myself away from the bolognese, I look forward to trying the NY Strip, and pizza next. Thank you for always coming through with a home cooked meal when I don’t feel like cooking at home <3

Don’t order pizza here! I assure you, it’s better to buy Domino’s — this is not a joke. The pizza here is a scam.
This place is not far from where I live, so I decided to dine in with my girlfriend. We couldn’t decide what to order, so we started with a pizza. It was really awful. The pizza was a square-shaped, American-style one with dough that felt like wood. Seriously, it wasn’t just not crunchy — I thought I was going to break my teeth on it! And a half-sized pizza cost $26, which is ridiculous.
I know a restaurant in Chicago that’s in the Michelin Guide and ranks in the top 50 pizzerias in the U.S. Their Neapolitan pizza is perfect — even better than in many restaurants in Italy I’ve been to. And the prices there range from $20 to $26. Paying $26 here for something so bad was absurd.
When we asked for the check, the waiter asked if we wanted to take the pizza home. We said, “No, it was terrible.” She simply replied, “Oh, I’m so sorry you didn’t like it.” Great customer service, right?
That said, the atmosphere in the place is actually pretty decent and cozy. The wine and cocktails were good too. I can’t comment on the other food, so maybe we’ll give this place another chance someday. But we will never order their pizza again.
Honestly, you’re better off buying a pizza at Whole Foods for 5 bucks and reheating it in the microwave — it’ll taste much better and cost far less.

We live not far from this place, so we decided to have dinner there for my boyfriend’s birthday. We ordered a pizza to start with, but it turned out to be terrible—the dough was like a brick and really unpleasant. We ate less than half and decided to just leave. When we informed our server that we didn’t like the food, there was no reaction. All we heard was that they were sorry. Unfortunately, it ruined our evening.

The food was good but I was expecting that special things I usually find in a family Italian restaurant! ( the fried mozzarella sandwich had some fishy taste) and the waiter appetizers for it directly! The atmosphere is excellent how ever the chairs were really uncomfortable! Again I don’t want to be so harsh since it’s my first time.i will definitely visit it again and update my review!

This place is amazing. Great food. Our server was great. Unfortunately, when our two-year old had a tough moment, the bartender came over to our table (away from the bar) and asked us to leave. Probably the most shocking kid-hating moment I’ve ever had. It was 6pm. It’s a family restaurant. More embarrassing for the bartender than for us honestly. I hope the bar tips were worth being an awful person!
