Prime & Provisions Steakhouse

Service was great. On time with reservations, all staff were warm and friendly. Big s/o to Ricky a lovely and thoughtful waiter.

Brought some out-of-town friends in for dinner and we had an excellent meal! Humberto's attention to detail is fantastic! Some of the best service I've ever experienced.

Great ambiance and service. We were in a rush and they were great! Food was fantastic and our waiter was on point!

The overall experience was underwhelming. The staff only came to the table for initial drink orders and never offered a second round of drinks. 3 of 7 steaks ordered had to be sent back for temperature errors. One of the steaks was pre-sliced and clearly raw, but still served. The manager said "because we were able to use the same steaks and cook them further, we do not have to adjust the bill". The manager was rude, but ultimately decided to adjust the bill appropriately. The food was simply average for a steakhouse. Having eaten at other steakhouses on the river, I would recommend avoiding Prime & Provisions if you're looking for a more positive experience.

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had! The setting was beautiful, every single dish we had was fabulous, and the service was perfect. The waiter was kind and responsive whenever we needed anything but didn't hover or rush us. We had: truffle arancini (not to be missed) French Onion soup, filet mignon with bearnaise, roasted Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, and Parmesan potato au gratin. The splurge was worth it!!

I've been here a couple times and always appreciate the consistency in both food and service. I love the Truffle Arancini and the filet is always cooked to a perfect medium rare when I order it.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Jim our server made sure our experience was top notch from beginning to end. The Kaluga Caviar Potato Skin was small but absolute perfection on a platter. 10oz fliet was cooked exactly to temp as we ordered. The Brussel Sprouts were exquisite. To finish we had an affogato.

For this price (over +$500 dinner for two) a very disappointing experience. We wanted to love it...but from beginning to end, disappointing- ripped seats, underwhelming appetizers, steaks that had to get sent back cooked wrong, replacement sides got charged, wait times between seeing our server, we had high hopes and expectations. We love Steak 48 & thought this would be comparable. It's not, not even close.

Very good atmosphere and service. Wife ordered 7oz filet and it was cooked perfectly and flavor was very good. I ordered 22oz dry aged bone in ribeye which was cooked perfectly, but flavor was just ok. I also did not know the steak would be pre-sliced at presentation. Overall experience was great, but I was not impressed based on price/taste. To each their own.

This was an amazing restaurant. The service was A-1, the food was spectacular, and the ambience was suitable for any special occasion or just for a great meal. Chicago is obviously the home of some of the best food in the world and Prime & Provisions fits the mold.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently dined at Prime & Provisions celebrating my husband's birthday , and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for a memorable evening. The dishes were nothing short of excellent. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the skill and creativity of the kitchen. The drink selection was impressive, with innovative cocktails that perfectly complemented our meal. And let's not forget the dessert! It was the perfect sweet ending to an already wonderful dining experience.And thank you for the candle as we were celebrating a birthday! The service was outstanding. Our server, sporting a pair of cute Gucci sunglasses, was attentive and knowledgeable, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the night. Overall, Prime & Provisions exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another incredible meal.
