Came for Chicago Restaurant Week. For the first course, my partner and I ordered the prosciutto and ricotta, which was an excellent appetizer and quite big for one person. In the second course, we ordered the chicken souvlaki and the seafood pasta. The chicken souvlaki was quite bland, but the sides added more flavor. The seafood pasta was fine, but the prawn heads were empty. For the third course, we had the Basque cheesecake and the sorbet trio, both of which were wonderful in terms of flavor and size. The ambience was nice, though the seating was a bit cozy for our taste; it felt as though we were eavesdropping on other people's conversation. Overall, we enjoyed the appetizer and dessert, and were unimpressed with the main course.
My dining companion and I bought the $18 cocktail supposedly made with tequila. I am Asian and usually half way into a cocktail I am feeling a buzz- felt nothing with this cocktail it was like drinking a glass of juice. And my companion who is a tequila aficionado said she couldn't taste any tequila. when we brought this to the attention of the server she went to the bar tender with our concern and came back with a shot of tequila for each of us. It was the worst tequila we have ever had. We couldn't drink it even after mixing it with ice and lime.
The experience was bad, we had reservations but when we got there they told us there was a mix up with our table. So we had to stand around for like 25/30 mins before our table was ready. Then we did not realize that the menu was different on the first floor versus the second floor for Resturant week. The menu we were looking forward to having was the one they were serving on the second floor. We asked them if it was possible to serve that menu on the first floor and they told us no. But they did offer us a bottle of cheap champagne and a round of lemon drop shots. Then once we finished our dinner, we asked for our leftovers to be packaged. My meal got switched with someone else's meal. So I don't know whose food they gave me, but it was scraps. Where is my meal was practically a full meal because I only took like three bites out of it. Then when a married couple and another lady in our group asked for their meals to be packaged. One of the ladies stopped the waitress and asked was she going to be able to remember which meal was whose and the waitress was like “to tell you the truth I'm probably gonna mix them up.” Which we found crazy so the lady told her she could package the couples meals first and then come back for her so she would not mix it up. But some how mine got mixed up, so needless to say we won't be going back.
Delilah was amazing! Very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the place was stunning! We will be sure to come back!
They added a 20% service charge to a table of 4 without mentioning it to me. I even mentioned when I asked for the check that we were running late to a show, so it really felt like they intentionally didn't inform me hoping I'd leave a larger tip. I ended up tipping about $150 when I intended to tip about half of that. I've called multiple times to try to resolve this, and have not been able to get somebody on the phone, despite leaving multiple voicemails.
If the restaurant owner sees this and wants to make things right, I'd be happy to remove this review. You should have my number, as I've left it more than once.

Great spot to experience for a first time not sure for a second unless something is done to the pricing of food. Our server Delilah M is what made this a wonderful experience as she took care of us really well and was considerate about it being our anniversary. The price of the food compared to the quantity that is served is ridiculous imo. Shawarma wings were too dry and sauce that was served with was not the best.
We loving coming here for oyster happy hour before we head to dinner or other plans for the night. It is our very favorite oyster spot in town. They plate the oyster well on a tower so the oysters are not on top each other. The oyster are cleaned and shucked well so the brine is still in the shell. Additionally the other happy hour drinks are good too.
Very great experience. Came in on a whim just out and had the best experiences. Service was amazing and so was the food and the drinks.
Had a great experience on our first time. Just FYI for the new customers. Watch out for the 20% service charge on your receipt. I missed it and end up double tipping. We are only party of 2. TY
This place with the bar is absolutely awful, it was probably 90° and humid. We had to leave in the middle of dinner. It was unbearable. We told the staff, and she said yeah, it's hot in here. That was a waste of a couple hundred dollars.

Went in for happy hour with my son and I was overcharged for some of the dishes on the happy hour menu.
It took around 20 minutes to flag our server for our check and an additional 30 minutes to dispute the charges once I was given the balance.
The ambiance was nice, but the tables were sticky and the music was excruciatingly loud in the washroom.
A 20% tip was automatically included for a place with mediocre service and mid food.

Very disappointing experience. I saw this event that they had national oyster day and booked reservation weeks in advance for my friend bday since she loves oysters. we got there early the hostess told us to wait at the bar even though there only 3 tables occupied the rest were empty . we waited patiently at the bar for about 30 minutes and ordered drinks which in my opinion weren't the greatest . one was way too sour another one was way too weak . anyways they finally seat us , when the waiter came to get the order, we ordered oysters since this was the main reason we drove from the suburbs . waiter tells us that they ran out , then he said you should've just ordered them at the bar we had them then . very upsetting, overall the only thing nice about this place is ambiance , staff definitely doesn't match an upscale restaurant experience, drinks are not worth 20$ , and disappointing is not the word.
Visited for our 3 year wedding anniversary and this was one of our worst meals out in a very long time. It was extremely hot inside and all of our food came before we even had water at our table. Getting the attention of a waiter was impossible. Our anniversary was never acknowledged and we couldn't order a second drink because they were so understaffed. We live in the area and will not be back.
still in disbelief over the terrible service. was not greeted for almost 30 minutes (with repeated attempts to get anyone's attention), until i finally got up myself and told the host stand, at which point a hostess eventually came over and took our order. ended up not getting food or drinks until 45 minutes into our reservation and it seemed like all waiters and bussers were purposely avoiding eye contact and our table while tables that arrived after were all getting steady service. food was decent but have never been treated this way before.
Delilah & Sam were the absolute best! Great service, friendly, masterful with the cocktails, love this place, get in here!
