Went in for happy hour with my son and I was overcharged for some of the dishes on the happy hour menu.
It took around 20 minutes to flag our server for our check and an additional 30 minutes to dispute the charges once I was given the balance.
The ambiance was nice, but the tables were sticky and the music was excruciatingly loud in the washroom.
A 20% tip was automatically included for a place with mediocre service and mid food.

Absolutely love this place! The design and atmosphere are stunning- stylish, cozy, and perfect for any occasion. The food is always delicious, with great attention to quality. And to top it all off, the service is consistently excellent- friendly, attentive, and professional. This has become one of our go-to spots, and we always leave happy. Highly recommend!

In the midst of similar West Loop spots, Prime provides a great dining experience. Beautiful environment, nice drinks, and a few diverse dishes. The staff is also incredibly nice.

I visited for restaurant week, where they require all diners per table to order off the special menu if interested. It doesn't really make sense as the same items were on the regular menu...this was slightly annoying and we would've left as one diner in our party only wanted one dish, but we understood: businesses have to make money.

I had the short ribs which needed more jus, as well as the crab beignets which were surprisingly slightly spicy. Still, I'd recommend and revisit for their American basics and amazing service.

ask to be seated away from the door!!! the location of our table made it almost unbearable. a wind barrier for the dining room is needed.

the food was excellent. dessert course took abnormally long to get but it was delicious.

A Mediterranean Masterpiece: Nisos Prime

Nestled in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop, Nisos Prime delivers a dining experience that seamlessly combines Mediterranean elegance with top-tier service and culinary creativity. From start to finish, our evening was nothing short of spectacular, thanks in large part to Anthony, who made it his mission to ensure every detail was perfect.

Our evening began with Anthony’s spot-on drink recommendations: the Aromatic, a vibrant and refreshing cocktail with layers of citrus and botanicals, and the Mezcal Cocktail, which boasted a smoky yet balanced flavor profile. Both were crafted with precision and set the tone for the evening ahead.

As we enjoyed our drinks, Anthony surprised us with a dish of Crispy Octopus, on the house, after overhearing us debating whether to order it. Tender, perfectly charred, and complemented by creamy tzatziki, feta, fingerling potatoes, and a hint of salsa macha, it quickly became a highlight of the meal and a dish we’ll return for.

For our main courses, we indulged in the Wagyu Smashburger, a rich and flavorful masterpiece with juicy wagyu beef and an array of toppings that made every bite melt in our mouths. We also savored the Paccheri Lamb Ragu, an expertly crafted pasta dish featuring tender lamb and a beautifully balanced sauce that felt like a warm Mediterranean embrace.

To end the night, we couldn’t resist the Skillet Cookie—warm, gooey, and paired with ice cream, it was the ultimate comfort dessert and the perfect way to round out an extraordinary meal.

Anthony’s exceptional service and hospitality elevated the entire experience, making us feel not only welcomed but truly cared for. Nisos Prime is more than a restaurant; it’s a destination for those who crave bold flavors, stunning presentation, and an unforgettable evening. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself, this is the place to be. Don’t forget to ask for Anthony—you’ll be glad you did!
